Olivia Rodrigo addressed speculation about possible tension between her and Taylor Swift again.

"I think if I dove into every internet detective sleuth that got things right or wrong about my life or any of my relationships, I think I'd just go crazy," the singer said.

Rodrigo also said it was hard for her personally after she added Swift and others as credited songwriters on some of her songs.

Olivia Rodrigo has addressed — yet again — speculation about rumored tension between her and Taylor Swift.

The "Vampire" singer responded to multiple questions about their relationship in a new interview published Friday.

During her appearance on The New York Times' Popcast to promote her upcoming third album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, she was asked how she feels facing public "scrutiny," like after a March incident in which she was photographed leaving Paul McCartney's Los Angeles concert at the same time as Swift.

"I don't know. I don't really read too far into it," Rodrigo responded. "I think it comes with the territory and it's par for the course. I think if I dove into every internet detective sleuth that got things right or wrong about my life or any of my relationships, I think I'd just go crazy. There's just not enough time in the day."

Rodrigo confirmed a hypothesis from the show's cohost, Joe Coscarelli, suggesting that she'd built a tolerance for the rampant speculation about her personal life after her debut single, "Drivers License," sent the internet into a frenzy.

"I think it made me feel detached from it," she said. "I had to detach from it in order to literally be okay. It's just such a crazy experience for everyone involved. I think I just had to learn to detach."

She continued, "I think that that's something that I hopefully am good at these days — still trying to detach from people who don't know every little detail of my life. I think you just have to, otherwise you just go crazy."

Elsewhere in the podcast, Rodrigo discussed how she felt about claims that there might be a "frost" between her and Swift. "I don't know," she said. "I think I tried to not let it get to me or upset me. I think I just try to keep it truckin'. I think there's no use. It was so long ago. I think there's no use in, like, harping on it."

She added, "I just try to make songs that I love and try to be kind and good to other people and supportive of other people. And I've always tried to be like that. And at the end of the day, I think that's all you can do."

Rodrigo has repeatedly cited Swift as one of her primary influences, and the "Love Story" singer publicly supported her in the lead-up to her first album, Sour. Rodrigo interpolated elements from Swift's 2017 song "New Year's Day" on the album's fourth song, "1 Step Forward, 3 Steps Back," and credited Swift and the song's co-writer, Jack Antonoff, as composers.

Rodrigo later credited Swift and Antonoff as songwriters on the album's second single, "Deja Vu," due to its similarities to Swift's 2019 song "Cruel Summer." She also added Annie Clark, a.k.a. St. Vincent, as a composer because of her contributions to "Cruel Summer." Rodrigo also later credited Hayley Williams and Josh Farro as songwriters on her song "Good 4 U" due to its similarities to Paramore's song "Misery Business."

Rodrigo has said she was "a little caught off guard" by the crediting snafu. "At the time it was very confusing, and I was green and bright-eyed and bushy-tailed," she told Rolling Stone in 2023. "It's not something that I was super involved in… It was more team-on-team. So, I wouldn't be the best person to ask."

Rodrigo acknowledged the situation again in her Popcast interview after Coscarelli suggested that "borrowing a little too much" musically has "come back to bite" her.

"It's a really hard time, just personally, but I don't know, I'm a fan girl. I love music, and nobody can take that away," she said on the podcast. "That sounds so cheesy, but I love music, and I feel so lucky that I get to do what I do, and I love so many songs, and I've grown up being surrounded with awesome music and awesome bands, and I truly just do feel so lucky."

On The View, co-host Ana Navarro said that Rosie O'Donnell got a facelift because she was "looking sad" despite feeling "so happy"

"I said to her, 'For me, being a feminist means doing something that makes you feel empowered and happy," Navarro recalled

O'Donnell revealed in a May 25 Substack post that she secretly underwent a facelift in January

Ana Navarro is sharing some insight into Rosie O'Donnell's decision to get a facelift.

On the Friday, May 29, episode of The View, Navarro, 54, said that she contacted former co-host O'Donnell, 64, after the comedian revealed this week that she secretly underwent a facelift.

"I said to her, 'For me, being a feminist means doing something that makes you feel empowered and happy.' And she said, ‘I wanted to do this because I was looking sad when I’m feeling so happy.'"

Navarro added that a driving force behind O'Donnell's decision was her dramatic weight loss over the years.

"She said, ‘The headline was I had Mounjaro face. Now, I look and feel great.’ And she wanted a doctor that was a minimalist. So if you see, it’s not like a dramatic thing where all of a sudden it looks like she’s from a different ethnicity. She looks like Rosie O’Donnell without the lines."

In a Monday, May 25, Substack post, O'Donnell revealed that she got a lower deep plane facelift in January that “cost more money than I have ever paid for a car.” She also shared before-and-after photos on Instagram.

“My privileged place in this world,” she continued. “And that feels almost shameful to me. The things I have - earned some say, but [it's] the gross excess that wounds me.”

O'Donnell prefaced her post by explaining that she’d always felt “very strongly about facelifts” and prided herself on being someone “who would never - ever" have one done.

“I thought it was a betrayal. Of feminism. Of aging. Of our team of women worldwide. And then I lost 50 pounds…,” she wrote.

“There’s a point where acceptance starts to feel like lying,” O'Donnell added.

The star explained that she researched facelifts, but her feelings towards them shifted again when her daughter Clay, 13, found out and advised against it. (O'Donnell is mom to Clay as well as kids Parker Jaren O'Donnell, 31, Chelsea Belle O'Donnell, 28, Blake Christopher O'Donnell, 26, and Vivienne Rose O'Donnell, 23.)

Clay "sounded exactly like me. Like my younger, more certain, more morally rigid self had somehow moved into my house," O'Donnell explained. She saw the exchange as a learning opportunity for her children. “I want them to grow up in a world where they don't feel like they have to change but also know they can, if they want to, without losing moral standing in their own lives."

She concluded her post by calling this stage of her life "act 3."

“As I get ready for the last day of school with my youngest - the caboose, here at 64 years old with a new lower face and neck, just happy to be alive. Able to feel and choose and use my voice whenever I feel called to," she shared. "For the girl I was. The woman I am."

Rodrigo acknowledged the situation again in her *Popcast* interview after Coscarelli suggested that "borrowing a little too much" musically has "come back to bite" her.

Rodrigo previously addressed rumors of a feud with Swift in 2023. "I don't have beef with anyone," Rodrigo she told *Rolling Stone*. "I'm very chill. I keep to myself. I have my four friends and my mom, and that's really the only people I talk to, ever."**** The musician also declined to confirm whether or not her 2023 single "Vampire" was secretly about Swift. "I was very surprised when people thought that," she told*The Guardian* that year. "I never want to say who any of my songs are about. I've never done that before in my career and probably won't. I think it's better to not pigeonhole a song to being about this one thing."

- Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau explain why *The Mandalorian and Grogu* doesn't open with the traditional *Star Wars* crawl.

- Former Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy previously told ** that all future* Star Wars* films would use the iconic yellow text.

- Instead, Filoni and Favreau say they're saving the crawl specifically for Skywalker films.

Notice something missing from *The Mandalorian and Grogu*?

No, we're not talking about Ahsoka or Admiral Thrawn.* *The big-screen adaptation of the popular Disney+ show doesn't feature another familiar component of the *Star Wars* universe — the iconic opening crawl.

The apparent omission comes despite Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy telling ** in 2023 that those blocks of bright yellow text would continue sliding across the screen in all of the franchise's future films.

Instead, *The Mandalorian and Grogu*, now in theaters, delivers some opening context in a light blue font that remains stationary against a starry backdrop.

The opening crawl text of Star Wars with the iconic tilt into space

The crawl featured in 'A New Hope'.

Director Jon Favreau and his co-writer, Lucasfilm president Dave Filoni, join EW's *Debunked *video series to explain.

"We've only seen the crawl in the Skywalker saga films," Favreau says, referring to the prequel, original, and sequel trilogies. "*Solo* did not have a crawl. *Rogue One* did not have a crawl."

Filoni notes that all the spinoff films and Disney+ series feature "a blurb that explains some context" that *Star Wars* fans should know before they dive headfirst into a galaxy far, far away.

"*Ahsoka* has a version of a crawl, but we put it in red, and it's strictly vertical. It doesn't go back," he adds. "So we find different ways to do it."

For Filoni, these blurbs are a way to capture "the serial vibe" of the franchise. "But the classic* Star Wars* crawl is something that we try to reserve only for saga-type films," he says.

***Get your daily dose of entertainment news, celebrity updates, and what to watch with our ******EW Dispatch newsletter******.***

Favreau, meanwhile, vividly remembers seeing the very first *Star Wars *crawl in theaters as a child.

"Such an iconic opening. So that's why we don't use the crawl for everything in *Star Wars*," he remarks. "There's so much *Star Wars* now, so Dave has explained, we save it for the saga."

And, sorry to the Skywalkers, but this is Mando (Pedro Pascal) and Grogu's time to shine. The bounty-hunting father-son duo makes the hyperjump from their Emmy-winning series *The Mandalorian* to the big screen as they head out on a dangerous new adventure. Joining Mando and Grogu on their journey is Sigourney Weaver, who also participated in the *Debunked* series to address a theory that her character, Colonel Ward, might secretly be an Imperial spy.

"Is it possible? Well, it's an interesting question. You know, politics is difficult and creating a New Republic is difficult," she says. "This is a difficult job that she has, and I think she's been in the service a long time, so I guess it's possible, but unlikely that this woman who came up during the rebellion and is an X-wing fighter pilot would spend one second entertaining the idea of spying for the evil empire."

She adds, "I decide! Today! Now! No!"

*The Mandalorian and Grogu* is in theaters now. Watch Pascal, Filoni, Weaver, and Favreau react to even more movie theories in the video above.

- Nicolas Cage says he did not name his son Kal-El after Superman.

- The actor was supposed to star in *Superman Lives* in the early 1990s.

- Born Nicolas Coppola, "Cage" came from the Oscar-winner being a fan of comic book character Luke Cage.

Believe it or not, Nicolas Cage swears that his son Kal-El is not named after Superman.

Cage is a noted comic book fan, and the biggest what-if of his career is his canceled film *Superman Lives*. Despite mounting evidence to the contrary, the Oscar-winner says he had other reasons for bestowing Kal-El on his second of three children.

"What's interesting is I wasn't a Superman enthusiast; I grew up reading the monsters, like Ghost Rider and the Incredible Hulk," Cage told *Entertainment Tonight*. "It's actually a Hebrew name, it means 'Voice of God.' I always thought Kal-El is a beautiful name. So I gave him the name, but it wasn't because of some sort of adoration of Superman."

Kal-El was born in 2005 to Cage and his former wife Alice Kim. The actor further revealed that his son "loves" his name.

And Kal-El was almost a name that Cage went by onscreen. In the early ’90s, Cage and* Batman* director Tim Burton were working on their own Superman film, *Superman Lives*, and footage of Cage in the superhero suit for his costume test has since circulated online. But Warner Bros. ended up getting cold feet and shutting it down before cameras started rolling. (Cage appeared with the aid of visual effects as a version of Superman in 2023's *The Flash*.)

“I would’ve loved to have seen it, but I feel that in many ways, it was sort of a win-win because of the power of the imagination,” Cage previously said. “I think people can actually see the movie in their minds now and imagine it and in many ways that might resonate more deeply than the finished project.”

Nicolas Cage explains why he legally changed his name

It would be fair to assume that Kal-El Cage's name derived from Superman because of his father's history with the character and comic book–inspired names. Nicolas Cage was formerly Nicolas Coppola, but he opted to step out of the shadow of his family's Hollywood legacy, and went with Cage due to his affinity for Marvel character Luke Cage.

"'Cage' is a name that I liked coming across in the comics — I just thought he had a cool name — and I grew up in a very avant-garde, artsy family and there was talk about John Cage and the experimental compositions that he did," he recently said. "I changed my name legally last year. I’m Nick Cage in life, and I’m Nick Cage on camera. 'Tis better to be the patriarch of my own little family than the clown cousin on the margins of someone else’s, so I decided I’m going to bring it on and be 'Cage.'"

Cage's comic book love is currently continuing as he stars on Prime Video's *Spider-Noir* as an older, grizzled, alternate version of Spider-Man.

Susan Boyle is turning her glamorous new look up a notch.

Boyle, 65, shared a series of Instagram photos on Thursday, May 28, after deleting all previous posts. She marked the new post as an ad, with the caption, "A new era starts tomorrow."

In the photos, Boyle sported a brown velour tracksuit with coordinating sneakers and an eye-catching fur coat. She accessorized with large retro-inspired sunglasses, with her hair blonde and cut into a bob with bangs. The photos showed Boyle crossing a street, sitting in a car and singing into a microphone in what appears to be a recording studio.

The Scottish singer's previous album, TEN, was released in 2019.

Later on Thursday, Boyle shared a photo that featured "Just One" in gold lettering on the back of her tracksuit as she stood in the studio. "I've heard it's Susan Boyling out there… and it's about to get hotter. Just One is out soon xx," she captioned the photo.

The singer initially debuted her new haircut in 2025 at the Pride of Britain Awards in London, years after she won the hearts of viewers from the U.K. and around the world after her April 2009 Britain's Got Talent audition.

Her life-changing performance stunned the audience and judges Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden, and she was among that season's 40 semifinalists.

Ten years later, Boyle told PEOPLE that she still loves to perform "I Dreamed A Dream."

“It's something I can relate to,” the singer said in 2019.

“It's about a lady who, more or less, was left on her own with nothing," Boyle continued. "Lots was taken away from her and she had to rebuild her life again."
