Meghan McCain did not hold her tongue about her opinion on her replacement at her former job, "The View."

The television personality, the daughter of the late Arizona Sen. John McCain, served as the conservative voice on the ABC daytime talk show from 2017 to 2021.

The year after, Alyssa Farah Griffin, a former White House director of strategic communications and assistant to former president Donald Trump, was named as McCain's successor, joining Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, and Sunny Hostin, along with Ana Navarro.

Earlier this month, Griffin returned to the show after a months-long maternity leave. A series of conservative personalities appeared on the show during her absence.

On the recent episode of McCain's politics and pop culture podcast, the 41-year-old criticized the decision, stating that "the person they replaced me with is a joke."

"She's in no way representative of conservative women," she said on "Citizen McCain." "It's been a widely disappointing experience for me to see what legacy I helped do during the four years there while my dad battled brain cancer and I had not one, but two miscarriages while I worked there."

What did McCain say after leaving 'The View'?

In the last chapter of McCain's 2022 memoir, "Bad Republican," she touches on her sudden departure from "The View, claiming that "the environment on the show is toxic."

McCain elaborated further on her decision to leave in an interview with USA TODAY in 2021, saying in part: " It was quite a few things. Some of it was COVID and me just having time to reassess my life. Some of it was the work environment, and just quite frankly, the idea of going back into a studio where rampant leaking (to the press) happens, where there's this drama and fighting."

"I just felt like in that moment, and this sounds dramatic, but I literally could see myself crying in my office, and I was like "I am a strong, educated woman who has a lot of things to say," and I feel like this is becoming reality-show-esque. I just felt like it was completely without kindness and without heart, and I just didn't want to do it anymore," she added.

Griffin was vocal about her vote in the 2024 election

Griffin exited Trump's administration in 2020 in the wake of that year's election and the former president's baseless claims of fraudulent results. She was among his former staffers who issued warnings about his reelection.

In 2024, Griffin opened up about voting for Kamala Harris in the Election Day episode of "The View," Variety reported.

“Four years ago today, I was in the White House with Donald Trump on election night. I believed he deserved to lose that night, at that point," she said at the time. "I thought he hadn’t fought to win the election, but I thought the next four years would be the Republican party rebuilding and becoming something I could believe in and turning the page on Donald Trump, and it didn’t do that. So, this weekend, on Saturday, for the first time in my life, I voted for a Democrat.”

McCain, who reportedly didn't voice support for either Harris or Trump during the last election, questioned Griffin's political stance: "She voted for Kamala. Again, how is that representing conservatives?" she asked on "Citizen McCain."

Most people think of the Americans with Disabilities Act in terms of physical access, such as wheelchair ramps, accessible parking, or elevator buttons with braille. What many business owners don't realize is that the ADA also applies to websites, and the legal exposure for ignoring that has been building for years.

Over 4,000 lawsuits were filed in federal and state courts in 2024 by individuals alleging that company websites and mobile apps failed to comply with Title III of the ADA. According to AudioEye's 2026 Accessibility Advantage Report, 52% of business leaders have already faced an accessibility-related lawsuit or legal threat. AudioEye also found that almost 4 in 10 businesses that were sued in 2025 already had some form of accessibility solution in place.

The numbers suggest that for many businesses, the legal exposure is already there, whether they've thought about it or not.

What the ADA actually says about websites

The ADA was signed into law in 1990, years before most businesses had a website at all, so it doesn't mention the internet by name. But courts and the Department of Justice have consistently read Title III, the section covering places of public accommodation, to include websites and digital services.

One of the most referenced cases in this space is Robles v. Domino's Pizza. A blind customer sued after he couldn't order food through the company's app using a screen reader. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in 2019 that the ADA applies to Domino's digital properties because they function as an extension of a physical place of business, and Domino's reached a settlement in 2022 after six years of litigation. It's widely cited as a turning point for how courts think about digital accessibility.

If your business has a website and serves the public, it's reasonable to treat ADA compliance as something that applies to you.

What WCAG has to do with it

WCAG is the technical framework that courts and regulators use to measure whether a website is actually accessible. It's developed by the World Wide Web Consortium and sets specific standards for how content should work for people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, captions, and other assistive tools.

The guidelines essentially ask four questions about your site: Can people tell what's on it? Can they use it? Can they understand it? And does it hold up across different devices and assistive tools? In practice, that means things like providing alt text for images, making sure videos have captions, ensuring a site can be navigated without a mouse, and using enough color contrast that text is readable for someone with low vision. For businesses, this matters because it means accessibility isn't subjective. There's a documented standard, courts know about it, and when someone sues over an inaccessible website, WCAG is usually how they prove it.

What non-compliance actually looks like

The part that surprises most people is just how common accessibility problems are. Research from WebAIM's annual review of the top 1 million websites found that 94.8% of home pages have detectable WCAG failures. The most common issues include missing form labels, low-contrast text, images without alt text, and links that use vague or duplicate descriptions, the kind of barriers that make it genuinely difficult for someone who is blind or relies on a keyboard to use a site at all.

AudioEye's own research found that 59% of business leaders believe their organization would be at legal risk if their site were audited today.

How businesses should approach this

The most effective path combines automated scanning with expert human review. Automated tools can quickly and consistently catch and resolve a large percentage of issues, but they don't replace the judgment required to fix more complex problems. Experts close the remaining gaps, addressing the barriers that technology alone can't reliably solve. However, neither works as well on its own. Automation without human review leaves critical issues unaddressed, and manual work alone can't keep pace with sites that update constantly.

That challenge only continues to grow, especially as AI-powered coding tools have made it possible for smaller teams to build more and launch faster, which means accessibility gaps can appear more quickly than ever. According to AudioEye's 2025 Digital Accessibility Index, the average web page still contains 297 accessibility issues, even among organizations actively investing in compliance.

What hasn't held up legally is the overlay approach, tools that add a toolbar to your site and promise instant compliance. AudioEye found that 38.5% of businesses sued in 2025 already had an accessibility solution in place. Most were relying on widgets that promised instant compliance but couldn't fix the things that actually matter in court, like forms, checkout flows, and navigation. That's because widgets operate at the presentation layer, a floating toolbar that lets visitors adjust font size or contrast for themselves without ever changing the underlying code. Real accessibility solutions work at the structural level, evaluating a site's code and fixing issues before a user ever interacts with the page. Widgets sell surface-level changes as structural fixes, and plaintiffs’ attorneys know exactly where to look.

People with disabilities and their networks represent $18 trillion in global purchasing power, according to the Return on Disability Group, which means a more accessible website isn't just a legally safer one. It's one that more people can actually use. For most business owners, that tends to be the framing that sticks long after the legal risk stops being the only thing on their radar.

Where to start

For businesses just getting started, the most practical first step is understanding your site's accessibility, or lack thereof. A free accessibility site scan will surface the most common and most legally significant issues. Businesses have had to make their physical locations accessible for decades, and the same standard is now catching up to their websites. The ramp out front got built because the law required it, and today, nobody thinks twice about it. The same shift is happening online, except the door isn't made of glass or steel. It's a homepage, a checkout flow, a contact form. The organizations that get ahead of it tend to find that keeping those doors open was never just a legal requirement anyway.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Druski will host the 2026 BET Awards, becoming the youngest emcee in the show’s history.

BET announced Thursday that the 31-year-old comedian and digital creator will lead the ceremony, which airs live June 28 from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Druski surpasses Kevin Hart, who previously held the distinction as the BET Award's youngest host when he emceed in 2011.

“I grew up watching the BET Awards,” Druski said in a statement. “To know the comedic legends that hosted before me set the bar so high, I’m just grateful to be a part of the history. But I’m still bringing my brand of comedy to the stage.”

Best known for his viral sketches and improvisational style, Druski has built a massive following across social media, translating that momentum into sold-out tours and high-profile collaborations with artists including Drake and Snoop Dogg, as well as appearances alongside figures like Tom Brady and Timothée Chalamet.

Druski has been named to Forbes’ Under 30 list and Rolling Stone’s Most Influential Creator list, and in 2025 became the first comedian to cover Billboard’s No. 1s issue.

Now in its 25th year, the BET Awards has long served as a major stage celebrating Black achievement across music, film, television and sports, and is known for its performances, tributes and culturally defining moments.

“As one of the most exciting comedic voices of his generation, Druski brings a unique ability to connect with audiences through humor that feels both fresh and deeply rooted in culture,” said Connie Orlando, BET’s executive vice president of specials, music programming and music strategy.

The show will be produced by Jesse Collins Entertainment, with Jesse Collins,Dionne Harmon and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay serving as executive producers.

A little less than a year after kicking off their relationship, Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson have officially called it quits.

The rapper and her NBA beau were first linked in the summer of 2025, when Megan shared a series of poolside snaps to her Instagram, and eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice that Thompson appeared to be sitting in the background of one of them. A few days later, Thompson kept the rumor mill swirling when he shared a kissing image with someone who looked exactly like the “WAP” singer from the back.

Days later, the pair made their public debut at the Pete & Thomas Foundation gala in New York City (a fundraiser for an organization which Megan founded and named after her parents, to provide resources for women, children, senior citizens, and underserved communities). At the event, the newly-formed couple coordinated in matching black-tie ensembles.

Since then, the pair have kept their relationship relatively lowkey, popping up on each other’s social media every once in a while, and referencing their coupling in interviews. On a few occasions, Megan was seen supporting the Mavericks player as she sat courtside at some of his games.

However, their relationship seems to have come to an end, as evidenced by an Instagram Story that Megan shared in early April, where she accused the athlete of cheating. “B***h I need a REAL break after this one .. bye yall,” she wrote in the post.

November 30, 2025: Klay names a boat after Megan.

Shortly after the pair spend their Thanksgiving together, Thompson reveals on his Instagram Story that he has named his new boat after his chart-topping girlfriend. The name? Why, SS Stallion, of course.

At the event, the rapper wears a black halter-style gown from Off-White, with a keyhole chest cutout and a beaded wrap-style belt detail along the waist. For his part, Thompson wears a black tuxedo from Tom Ford.

On the red carpet, Megan teases how she and Thompson first got together during an interview with People. “Oh, we met and it was such a meet cute it was like a f*cking movie,” she says. “I won’t tell you how and I won’t tell you when, but it was a movie.”

The rules are simple: If Cincinnati Reds pitchers combine for 11 strikeouts during any 2026 home game, every fan in attendance wins a free small one-topping pizza from LaRosa's Family Pizzeria.

The first time fans were rewarded from the “Strikeouts for Slices” promotion was during Sunday's 8-3 loss to the Detroit Tigers. Rhett Lowder, Brock Burke, Sam Moll, Pierce Johnson and José Franco combined for 12 strikeouts in the defeat.

It happened again on Tuesday night, but this time it happened in much more dramatic fashion.

Chase Burns, Graham Ashcraft and Tony Santillan had combined for 10 strikeouts through eight innings with the Reds up 7-2 over the Colorado Rockies. Come the ninth inning, it was Burke’s responsibility to not only close out the game, but get one strikeout to ensure pizza pandemonium.

Edouard Julien faced a 1-2 count when the next pitch was called a ball by home plate umpire Carlos Torres. Reds catcher Tyler Stephenson immediate tapped his helmet twice to signal an ABS challenge. As the fans inside Great American Ballpark awaited to see the location graphic of the pitch, you could slice the tension in the stadium with a pizza cutter.

Reds play-by-play announcer John Sadak did his job in building up to the reveal that it was indeed a strike.

“Stevenson’s won one tonight, can he win pizza for those in the stands?” Sadak said. “The crowd ready to burst. That’s a strike! Pizza for everybody!”

Stephenson has had success with ABS challenges this season, winning 67% (10-for-15) of the time as a catcher and all three while he’s been batting.
