Sabrina Carpenter slammed Donald Trump's White House for using her hit song "Juno" in a video montage depicting ICE raids. The Grammy winner responded to the video on X with the following takedown: "This video is evil and disgusting. Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda."

The White House has made a habit out of using pop songs from anti-Trump singers in videos praising Trump or celebrating ICE on social media. The latest video takes the most viral lyric from Carpenter's "Juno" (when the singer asks about sex positions: "Have you ever tried this one?") and layers it over people being handcuffed, tackled and more by ICE agents.

Prior to the White House co-opting Carpenter's music for its ICE agenda, it did the same with her friend and collaborator Taylor Swift. A video that dropped in November used Swift's "The Fate of Ophelia" in a montage celebrating Trump despite the U.S. president's frequent social media posts bashing Swift. The pop star did not comment on the video.

Kenny Loggins made headlines in October for bashing the White House's use of his hit song "Danger Zone" in a video that depicted Trump flying over No Kings protestors and dropping poop all over them.

"This is an unauthorized use of my performance of 'Danger Zone.' Nobody asked me for my permission, which I would have denied, and I request that my recording on this video is removed immediately," Loggins said in a statement shared with Variety at the time. "I can't imagine why anybody would want their music used or associated with something created with the sole purpose of dividing us. Too many people are trying to tear us apart, and we need to find new ways to come together."

British pop singer Jess Glynne was more blunt over the summer when the White House used the "Hold My Hand" Jet2holidays viral meme to promote ICE raids. She posted on social media: "This post honestly makes me sick. My music is about love, unity, and spreading positivity — never about division or hate."

Check out Carpenter's post below.

Taylor Swift is releasing an Eras Tour movie — again!

Not to be confused with 2023's concert film *Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour* or the upcoming six-part docuseries *Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era*, new Disney+ concert film *Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show *captures, as its lengthy title promises, the final stop on her years-long, globe-trotting career retrospective tour.

Swifties and lay fans alike can now feast their eyes on a first look at the new concert film. The trailer for *The Final Show*, which was released Monday, announces the big draw for this second of three looks at the two-year tour: the full set of songs from Swift's 11th studio album, *The Tortured Poets Department*.**

In the midst of promoting the first Eras Tour film, which was released in October 2023, and completing the tour's international trek, Swift released her highly anticipated follow-up to 2022's *Midnights*. *The Tortured Poets Department *added 31 new songs to the Swift oeuvre after she expanded the initial 16-track release with a double album subtitled "The Anthology."

The first Eras Tour film was released months before *Poets*, meaning the full set Swift eventually added to the tour, featuring fan faves like "But Daddy I Love Him" and "Fortnight," couldn't be seen by fans unable to get tickets to a nearby show.

*The Final Show *changes that.

"We've had so long to prepare for the end of this tour, and we get to play one last show for you here tonight," Swift can be heard telling the crowd in voiceover during the trailer, which previews live performances of *Poets *tracks "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart" and "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?"**

The concert film was shot in Vancouver, B.C., where Swift ended the Eras Tour on Dec. 8, 2024 after 149 shows across 51 cities.

A previously released trailer for the upcoming Eras Tour docuseries featured new footage of Swift kissing fiancé Travis Kelce beneath a massive stadium stage and paling around with past and present collaborators like Ed Sheeran, Sabrina Carpenter, and Florence Welch.****

NEW YORK — Penny Lane and Wolverine walk into a bar and sing "Sweet Caroline."

This might sound like something out of a fever dream, but it's exactly what happened when Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson surprised fans at a New York City bar with a lively performance of Neil Diamond's greatest hits on Monday night.

The performance was in anticipation of their upcoming musical film, "Song Sung Blue," which is about a real-life Neil Diamond tribute band.

Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson performing "Sweet Caroline," among other Neil Diamond hits, at a local pub in New York City on Dec. 1, 2025.

Gotham Awards: Hugh Jackman makes Ryan Reynolds 'insanely jealous' with Kate Hudson

Earlier in the evening, Hudson and Jackman attended the 2025 Gotham Awards, where they received the inaugural Gotham Musical Tribute. Other celebrities followed the stars to Old Mates, an Australian pub in NYC's Financial District known for hosting big names from down under. Chris Rock was spotted ahead of the pair's performance, and throughout the night, "Heathers" actor Christian Slater and actress Zoey Deutch also made their way to the star-studded pop-up.

Jackman took the stage just after 10 p.m., and the bar was packed from wall to wall. He introduced Hudson, who walked on stage holding a beer. The pair kicked off their three-song set with Diamond's "Forever in Blue Jeans" and "Crunchy Granola Suite."

Fans were in for a treat for the finale with the classic "Sweet Caroline," during which Jackman climbed on top of the bar.

"Raise the roof," Jackman cheered ahead of the chorus. "One more time, here we go!"

Hugh Jackman takes a silly selfie on a fan's phone while singing with Kate Hudson at Old Mates Pub in NYC's Financial District.

Afterwards, the crowd cheered for an encore, with some attendees hoping Hudson would sing "Tiny Dancer" like her character in "Almost Famous," but to no avail.

Instead, Jackman, an Aussie himself, was honored by Old Mates and rang a bell behind the bar (which an Old Mates team member said was reserved for "special guests"). As the bell tolled, silver confetti burst over the bar, showering patrons in the festivities.

Jackman then served a few beers to fans, and Hudson joined her friends, sitting on top of a booth seat and sipping on her beer.

Good times truly never felt so good.

Hop in, nerds, we're going to the Starcourt Mall movie theater. Tickets go on sale today for Stranger Things fans who want to spend their New Year's Eve watching the highly anticipated finale of the show on the big screen. The final episode of Season 5 will hit select movie theaters and Netflix at the same time on Dec. 31.

"We're beyond excited that fans will have the chance to experience the final episode of Stranger Things in theaters — it's something we've dreamed about for years," show creators Matt and Ross Duffer told Netflix's Tudum. "Getting to see it on the big screen, with incredible sound, picture and a room full of fans, feels like the perfect — dare we say bitchin' — way to celebrate the end of this adventure."

The last episode, titled "The Rightside Up," has a runtime of "around two hours," Matt Duffer told Variety. The finale will come after Season 5 Volume 2 drops on Netflix at 8 p.m. ET on Dec. 25. If you plan on venturing out on New Year's Eve instead of watching it on Netflix, here's what to know about getting tickets to see the limited theatrical release showing only in the U.S. and Canada.

How to buy tickets

Starting Dec. 2, tickets are available for U.S. fans through movie chain websites like Regal Cinemas or Cinemark, while Canadian fans can get tickets through Cineplex. Search for "Stranger Things 5: The Finale," and find your local theater. Choose a showtime, and pick your seats.

Since it's a limited theatrical release, tickets could sell out fast. And remember, if you miss out on the movie theater experience, the finale will still stream globally on Netflix.

What time can I watch the final episode of 'Stranger Things'?

Fans can watch the very last episode of the show in the comfort of their own home when it streams on Netflix on Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. ET. For fans who want to watch it on the big screen, the movie will play at the same time as the stream on Netflix. The limited screenings will be available through New Year's Day.

What else do we know about Season 5?

Here's the official synopsis of the fifth and final season of Stranger Things: "The fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. As the anniversary of Will's disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they've faced before. To end this nightmare, they'll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time."

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen skyrocketed to fame after playing Michelle Tanner in Full House

The two's last film together was 2004's New York Minute

In 2005, they founded fashion brand The Row, which they continue to run today

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are continuing to build their fashion legacy.

The child stars-turned-fashion designers first became famous in 1987 with the debut of Full House, in which they shared the role of Danny Tanner (Bob Saget)'s youngest daughter Michelle.

The pair spent years in the limelight starring in films together, but stepped away from the public eye at the height of their acting fame and founded their fashion brand, The Row.

"This is the way we chose to move forward in our lives: to not be in the spotlight, to really have something that speaks for itself," Mary-Kate told Vogue U.K. in April 2019.

So, where are Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen now? Here's everything to know about their lives today.

Who are Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen?

Matt Winkelmeyer/MG19/Getty Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen attend The 2019 Met Gala on May 06, 2019 in New York City.

Mary-Kate and Ashley are fraternal twins from Sherman Oaks, Calif., who first became known for playing Michelle Tanner on Full House — a part they earned when they were just 6 months old.

They weren't the only Hollywood siblings in the Olsen house: Their younger sister, Elizabeth Olsen, has starred in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and in projects like 2025's Eternity.

"[They] were forced to watch all my plays my whole life and go to my dance performances," Elizabeth told The Times in November 2025.

After Full House, the Olsen twins continued acting. They went on to star in more than 30 films together, including It Takes Two, Double, Double, Toil and Trouble, To Grandmother's House We Go and How the West Was Fun.

The sisters' company, Dualstar, was founded in 1993 by their then-manager Robert Thorne, with their father David Olsen serving as president. Ashley now serves as the CEO.

In 2005, the twins launched their fashion line, The Row, under Dualstar. In addition to reaching annual sales of $12 million within its first four years, per Allure, the brand boasts five physical locations, according to Business of Fashion.

"I think in the beginning [The Row] was really a project for us," Ashley told i.D. in June 2021. "It started with [a] T-shirt and then six other pieces fell out of that: tank tops, cardigans, leggings ... But it was really about perfecting the fit and perfecting the fabric."

When did Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen retire from acting?

Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty

Ashley's last major film was in 2004's New York Minute, though she had minor cameos in 2008's The Jerk Theory and 2010's I'm Still Here. Mary-Kate, meanwhile, retired from acting in 2012.

At 18, the Olsen twins moved to New York to attend New York University, where they found their true calling: fashion.

"We decided to ... take a step back and figure out what we really wanted to do," Ashley told The Ellen Show in September 2010. "And [fashion] was still something I think we were both extremely interested in."

Acting was a profession the Olsen twins fell into. "I don't think I ever turned around and said, "Oh my god, I'm acting, it was just what I knew, it was what we did," Mary-Kate told CBS in September 2007.

In November 2013, Ashley told Allure that she needed to switch her focus. "I was reading scripts, and ultimately I just said to the people who are representing me, 'I need to do things 100 percent. I don't feel like I can give you 100 percent of my time,' " she said.

By that time, Mary-Kate had stopped acting as well, telling the publication, "I am not great at not being able to control the end product."

Both sisters declined to participate in the 2016 Fuller House reboot.

Do Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen still work in fashion?

Gisela Schober/Getty

The twin siblings continue to run The Row, with Mary-Kate serving as creative director and Ashley as the brand's CEO.

The two became the youngest designers to ever be inducted into the CFDA association in 2009 and won their first of five CFDA awards in 2012. Over the years, they have continued to grow their style empire with other fashion projects, including a JCPenney line called Olsenboye, a T-shirt line at StyleMint and various expansions of The Row.

As the brand's creative director, Mary-Kate puts "a lot of work" into her presentations. "It's hard, it's emotional, it's time consuming, but when it's finished and it's great, you have that moment — it's maybe 30 seconds or a minute long — but you remember that moment," she told i.D. in June 2021.

"I think the reason that we do fashion is to constantly try to fix our imperfections, and you always have next season to do that," she continued. "It's also our job to find every imperfection in there to make sure that we're constantly pushing ourselves and training our eyes and making sure everyone is served."

On Dec. 28, 2022, Ashley married artist Louis Eisner in an intimate wedding ceremony attended by Mary-Kate and Elizabeth.

The private affair was the "perfect celebration" for the couple, who dated for five years prior to tying the knot. "They never wanted a huge wedding," a source told PEOPLE at the time.

The couple welcomed a son named Otto in 2023.

Mary-Kate, meanwhile, married French businessman Olivier Sarkozy in November 2015, but filed for divorce in May 2020.

"She's super career focused and he's very French and wanted her to be more available," a source told PEOPLE at the time, adding, "You can't control a girl who has been on the billionaire track since her 20s."

The younger Olsen twin sparked romance rumors in May 2024 after being spotted in the Hamptons with NHL star Sean Avery, but a source told PEOPLE that the two are "just friends."

"Mary Kate and Sean have known one another for years," they said. "They spend their summers in the Hamptons, and hang out with the same crowds."

Today, the Olsen twins are still designing clothes for their fashion house The Row.

They showed their latest collection in Paris in March 2025. In August 2025, the duo was photographed arranging clothing racks at their store in Amagansett, N.Y.

In addition to their professional work, Mary-Kate pursues equestrian endeavors, finishing in second and third place at the 2021 Longines Global Champions Tour in Rome.

George Clooney stars as *Jay Kelly*, a famous movie star who just wants to spend a little time with his daughter, regretting all the time he's lost with her, but she's headed to Europe for vacation; he sneakily follows her, hoping to convince her to come to a film festival where he's being honored.

In theaters: *Five Nights at Freddy's 2;* *100 Nights of Hero*, starring Emma Corrin, Maika Monroe, Nicholas Galitzine, and Charli xcx; and Kristen Stewart's directorial debut, *The Chronology of Water.*

On TV, fans of *Spartacus* can dive back into that world with the sequel series *House of Ashur*; the *Real Housewives of Beverly Hills* loses one of the ladies but gains another on the new season; and *Vanderpump Rules* cleaned house and hired an entirely new cast, who we get to meet this week.s
