MANCHESTER, England (AP) — Tyson Fury is returning to the ring after announcing on Sunday that he will step out of retirement.

The former heavyweight world champion confirmed his comeback in a post on social media, which sets up the prospect of a long-awaited showdown with Anthony Joshua.

"2026 is that year. Return of the mac," Fury posted on Instagram. "Been away for a while but I'm back now, 37 years old and still punching. Nothing better to do than punch men in the face and get paid for it."

Fury retired last year after losing for a second time to Oleksandr Usyk in December 2024. Before his two bouts with Usyk he was unbeaten in 35 fights, winning 34 and drawing one.

Fury did not mention potential opponents, but his announcement comes after increased speculation about a clash with British rival Joshua in 2026. Joshua, who is also a former world champion, last month knocked out YouTube star Jake Paul. But he was injured in a fatal car crash that killed two of his friends in Nigeria this week, which has resulted in uncertainty over his immediate plans.

Fury is a two-time world champion. He ended the reign of Wladimir Klitschko with a points win in 2015 that saw him crowned Super WBA, IBF and WBO champion.

He didn't fight again until 2018 - but a thrilling trilogy with American Deontay Wilder resulted in a draw and two victories to claim the WBC title.

Fury previously said he was retiring after he beat Dillian Whyte in 2022, but was back in the ring the following year.

A fight with Joshua has long-been anticipated. There is also the potential of a trilogy-capping fight with Usyk or a clash with WBO champion Fabio Wardley.

Browns defense flagged on two straight defensive touchdowns for doing Marshawn Lynch crotch-grab celebration

The Cleveland Browns defense had little to play for in Week 18, so the team decided to just have fun out there. That approach worked early on against the Cincinnati Bengals, though it came with a cost.

With time running down in the first quarter, Browns linebacker Devin Bush intercepted a Joe Burrow pass deep in Browns territory. While it looked like Bush would run out of gas on the return, he got a key block from Myles Garrett deep down the field, eventually making it all the way to the end zone for a 97-yard score.

When Bush got there, he turned around to face the pursuing Bengals and did the Marshawn Lynch crotch-grab celebration. You know, the one Lynch did after his iconic "Beast Quake" run.

The officials didn't miss a beat, and immediately threw a penalty flag.

The touchdown stood, but the team was penalized for the crotch-grab celebration.

If you thought that was going to deter the Browns' defense moving forward ... you were wrong. On the next drive, Cleveland forced a fumble in Bengals' territory. Browns cornerback Sam Webb scooped up the ball and ran it all the way back to the end zone for another Browns defensive score.

As Webb crossed the goal line, he also turned around and did the Lynch celebration, immediately drawing another flag.

The Browns were once again penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct. It was the second straight drive on which they were flagged with that penalty after that specific celebration.

While the Browns getting flagged on both plays should not come as a surprise, the fact that the team immediately performed the celebration a second time should draw some questions. The defense clearly wasn't deterred by the first flag, and didn't seem to care about picking up another penalty.

In the Browns' defense, neither penalty played a major role in the game. The Bengals turned the ball over after the first penalty and were forced to punt on the team's next offensive drive after the second penalty.

Additionally, the Browns don't have much to play for after coming into Week 18 sitting at 4-12. Does it really matter if the get penalized for excessive celebrations after scoring twice on Joe Burrow and the Bengals?

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Philip Rivers' dramatic return to the NFL might not be temporary after all. While the 44-year-old is retiring from the game as a player ... again ... he could remain in the league as a head coach.

Following Rivers' dramatic return to the NFL, the veteran has reportedly received head-coaching interest around the league, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. NFL teams have reportedly done research into Rivers and started making calls about him as a coach, per Rapoport. It's reached a point where Rivers could get at least one interview from an NFL team this offseason.

Entering Week 18, only two teams — the New York Giants and Tennessee Titans — have openings at head coach. That figure is expected to grow following Sunday's games. Some coaches could be dismissed before the day is done, while others will be let go Monday.

Rivers' resume as a player is pretty impressive. During his first stint in the NFL, Rivers passed for 63,440 yards and 421 touchdowns. Those figures rank eighth and sixth, respectively, in NFL history.

After five years off, enough time to make Rivers a candidate for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, he shockingly returned to the NFL after Colts quarterback Daniel Jones went down with a season-ending injury.

Considering the circumstances, Rivers played surprisingly well down the stretch, completing 63% of his passes, with four touchdowns against three interceptions in three games. With the Colts eliminated from postseason contention, Rivers was benched in favor of rookie Riley Leonard in Week 18.

Following that announcement, Rivers made it clear his playing days are over. He implied he would go back to coaching high school football in Alabama. Shortly after his first retirement from the NFL, Rivers began coaching high school football.

But with Rivers returning to the NFL, there's some thought that maybe he would consider remaining in the league as a head coach, per Rapoport. That's been a barrier in the past, as teams reportedly considered Rivers last offseason, but were told he wasn't willing to consider making the jump to college or the pros.

When Rivers announced his return to the NFL after five years away, he instantly became one of the biggest stories of the 2025 NFL season. If that short stint as the Colts' quarterback leads to a head coaching position next year, it would be a fitting way for Rivers' improbable comeback to continue.

The actresses first met on the set of 2005's Monster-in-Law

Wanda Sykes and Jane Fonda are finding ways to make their long distance friendship work — but it isn't always easy.

During Vanity Fair's Power of Women 2025 event, Sykes, 61, reflected on one time in particular when her Monster-in-Law costar, 88, had prior commitments and couldn't make time to meet up while she was visiting Los Angeles.

"It's hard to catch up with each other," Sykes admitted, noting that she had asked Fonda if she wanted to get dinner and drinks. "Jane responded back, 'I would love that, but I'll be in the Amazon meeting with the indigenous people to talk about climate change.' I stayed in bed for days. What is my [purpose], what am I doing?"

Indeed, the Upshaws actress couldn't help but gush about how generous and kind her longtime friend has always been — in her own special way, of course.

"My pastor said something and it resonated," Sykes continued. "He said, 'God doesn't send you things. He sends you people.' Yeah. So, I realized then that God sent Jane to make us all feel s----y about ourselves. We need to be better folks."

For her part, Fonda has also held her beloved friend in high esteem since meeting her on the set of Monster-in-Law 20 years ago.

"I've been in the business a minute now and I've seen many people who can reach certain heights and forget all about who they are and where they came from," the Grace and Frankie actress said at the event. "Wanda is not one of those. She has always worked hard to open doors and she can open for people after her."

Beyond her comedy career, Fonda emphasized that Sykes always made a habit of using her platform to advocate for the LGBTQ+ community.

"She works with incredible organizations like the Ruth Ellis Center, which works to create a supportive environment and community for LGBTQ+ young people," Fonda continued, quipping, "and all she asks for in return is her beautiful face on the cover of Variety. So glad to see that work."

Hailey Bieber shared a new collection of photographs to kick off 2026.

In the carousel, she included new photos of her son, Jack Blues Bieber, who she shares with husband Justin Bieber.

On Saturday, Hailey Bieber shared a new carousel of photos from her recent life, including a few never-before-seen pics of her son, Jack Blues Bieber. The carousel starts with a selfie of Hailey in a black lingerie top laced up the front. She is seated outside under some gorgeous palm trees.

The very next photo is of Hailey's foot next to Jack's tiny one on top of a green and white towel. Around her ankle is a gold name bracelet with his name spelled out in sparkling diamond lettering.

The rest of the collection shows Hailey's various fits, some food she has enjoyed, her skincare routine, and a video of fireworks. She captioned it all, "ready!"

Hailey's husband, Justin Bieber, also shared photos with Jack this week. The SWAG singer posted pictures of a little fishing expedition he enjoyed with his son. The pop star added a carousel of them hanging out on the dock together, swinging a small fish on a line. They are wearing matching colorful hoodies and it's a bright sunny day.

In November, Hailey talked about becoming a mom in an interview with GQ saying, "I don't think there's anything someone can tell you about it that will ever, ever, ever prepare you until you do it yourself. But I feel much more prepared to do it again, as opposed to how not prepared I felt doing it for the first time."

She added, "And I think for me personally, there's so much unknown to it, but so much happens and so much changes and you evolve in a totally different way that you would never be able to prepare for until you do it."

Andy Cohen is addressing fans wondering if he fine-tuned his face to ring in the new year.

The Watch What Happens Live host offered a candid reply to a Threads post that speculated he'd had cosmetic surgery before cohosting CNN's New Year's Eve Live with Anderson Cooper.

"I just saw the new clips of Andy Cohen on NYE and WTF did he do to his face?!? Is he trying to find a new husband at Mar-a-Lago?" one user asked in a New Year's Day post.

The Bravo VIP weighed in the next day to explain that he "did the smallest amount of Botox and lost 20 pounds. He added that he also "had a lot of makeup on" for his TV appearance.

Several other Threads users jumped in to say they thought Cohen looked great on the annual special.

"I was just thinking of how he has never looked better! His hair is perfection. He's hot AF," one user replied to the initial comment.

"Andy Cohen look[ed] great! People, quit bad-mouthing everybody on how they look!!" another fan scolded.

"It's 2026. We're not look-shaming anyone anymore. Thanks!" wrote another.

Cohen previously announced he'd shed some pounds as a result of "microdosing" a GLP-1 to manage his food cravings.

"Given that for 20 years I have been asking people about their body regimes … I do think it would be completely hypocritical not to share that I did this summer lose a good chunk of weight by microdosing a GLP-1 all summer," he said on a September episode of his SiriusXM show, Radio Andy.

It wasn't his physical appearance that ignited the scorn of another viewer. Former New York City Mayor Eric Adams blasted Cohen after the cohost celebrated the politician no longer running the city, calling his term "chaotic" and telling him to "go off into the sunset! We'll fiddle with what we have, with what you've left us with. Go dance away. We'll see you at all the parties!"

The following day, Adams called Cohen's comments a "sloppy drunken rant" and said the host should "seek help."

A former child star is alleging that he was fired from his job at Universal Studios after reporting a suspected pedophile at the theme park.

On Saturday, Jan. 3, Stephen Anthony Lawrence claimed in an Instagram post that his position at Universal Studios Hollywood was terminated as retaliation by his boss in response to the allegation he made.

"I delayed posting this for about a month because I was hoping we could find some sort of amicable solution, because I absolutely loved performing and dancing with all you amazing people," Lawrence wrote, alongside a photo of his Universal Studios ID pass propped up against a toad costume.

"It is with a heavy heart I have to announce that my time with Universal Studios has ended," he continued.

Lawrence, 35, alleged that a boss at Universal Studios and an HR representative fired him "to retaliate for reporting a suspected pedophile around children."

"While I will truly miss my job, I cannot be associated with an organization or people that don't care about performer or guest safety while numerous people continue to get hurt," Lawrence wrote.

He added that while he missed his job, he wouldn't be returning to Universal Studios Hollywood in light of his claims.

"With what I know, I WILL NEVER ALLOW MY KID TO GO TO UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD," he concluded, adding, "Be safe, everyone."

Lawrence didn't share any further details regarding his claims.

The former child actor played Bernard "Beans" Aranguren on the hit Disney Channel series Even Stevens throughout the series' three-season run from 2001 to 2003.

Lawrence's former costar on the show, Christy Carlson Romano, showed her support in the comment section, writing, "Good for you Steven! 👏," according to TMZ.
