The actress, 40, revealed on Instagram that she channeled her "favorite" Jennifer Aniston red-carpet look at the ceremony on Sunday, Dec. 4, in a chic, plunging black suit in homage to the Friends alum's iconic outfit worn at the 2002 Golden Globes.

"💫 I wanted to recreate and reimagine a favorite look I've always loved, worn by the iconic @jenniferaniston at the 02' Golden Globes," Cuoco wrote as she shared photos of herself with her fiancé, Tom Pelphrey, on the red carpet, along with shots of Aniston's fit.

Cuoco wore an oversized black satin blazer open with a black bra and black satin wide-leg pants by Simkhai. She accessorized her outfit with Pomellato jewelry and had her hair styled in a beehive with strands framing her face, another nod to 56-year-old Aniston's look.

"From the hair and makeup, to the suit and the jewels, we put our spin on it, but represented a look I always loved, worn by a woman who will always be iconic! ♥️♥️♥️♥️," Cuoco said as she thanked her styling and beauty team.

Cuoco shared a side-by-side photo on her Instagram Stories comparing her look to Aniston's which featured an open black blazer over a long black silk skirt.

All good things eventually come to an end.

Football fans have enjoyed NFL action on Mondays since Week 1, which dates all the way back to Sept. 8. For the first time in a long time, those same fans will have to find a different way to spend a Monday night since Joe Buck and Troy Aikman aren't walking through that door.

The league wrapped up the regular season on Sunday, Jan. 4 and finalized the playoff bracket while sending 18 teams home for the offseason. That leaves just 14 teams left with a chance to be crowned champions in just over a month's time.

It will return for the final game of wild-card weekend on Monday, Jan. 12.

Interpreting a character from stage to screen is always going to include changes — but *Wicked* composer and lyricist Stephen Schwartz says Jeff Goldblum is a Wizard of a different color from the one we know from Broadway.

Those familiar with the original cast recording of *Wicked* will recall Broadway legend Joel Grey beginning the act 2 song "Wonderful" by demurely asking for Elphaba's pity: "I never asked for this / Or planned it in advance / I was merely blown here / By the winds of chance / I never saw myself / As a Solomon or Socrates / I knew who I was / One of your dime a dozen / Mediocrities".

But in *Wicked: For Good*, "the Wizard is coming from a different place. He's not apologizing anymore," Schwartz tells *.*

In the blockbuster film, Goldblum's Wizard instead begins the song with an all-too-relevant new intro: "Take it from a wise old carney / Once folks buy into your blarney / It becomes the thing they'll most hold on to / Once they've swallowed sham and hokum / Folks and logic won't unchoke 'em / They'll go on believing what they want to / Show them exactly what's the score / They'll just believe it even more."

"Here, he's obviously telling Elphaba that her point of view is incorrect, and that he knows better," Schwartz explains, "so it demanded a new lyric, and new music as well."**

Entertainers of the Year tout with Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande honored by Jeff Goldblum

That wasn't the only change the *Wicked: For Good* team made. The film version also integrates Glinda (Ariana Grande) into the number, given that the song follows a newly added scene in which Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) secretly visits her old roommate ahead of the Good Witch's wedding.

"If we thought of it, we probably would've done it in the [stage] show, too," Schwartz says, "because I think it improves the sequence, and improves the storytelling. It just didn't occur to us at the time."

***Get your daily dose of entertainment news, celebrity updates, and what to watch with our EW Dispatch newsletter.***

"While working on the films, we realized that after 'Defying Gravity,' we don't have Elphaba and Glinda — the central relationship — in the same place at the same time for a very long time," he continues. "So we looked for, 'Well, how could we get them together sooner,' and came up with the idea that it could happen when Elphaba goes back to the Emerald City."

L to R: Cynthia Erivo is Elphaba, Ariana Grande is Glinda, and Jeff Goldblum is The Wizard of Oz in WICKED FOR GOOD, directed by Jon M. Chu.

Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), Glinda (Ariana Grande), and the Wizard (Jeff Goldblum) sing 'Wonderful' in 'Wicked: For Good'.

Not only did it solve their pink-and-green problem, but "it's also much more persuasive that Elphaba might change her mind and go along with this [plan of having her join the Oz government] if appealed to by her friend, rather than the Wizard, whom she already mistrusts," he concludes.

Sigourney Weaver is still not over the Beatles.

The star of new movie *Avatar: Fire and Ash* mentioned the Fab Four more than once when she was given the Colbert Questionnaire on a recent episode of* The Late Show With Stephen Colbert*.

And, like everyone, she had a favorite. Hers was John Lennon — who, along with Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, formed the British rock band that famously invaded America — before he was shot and killed outside his New York City apartment building on Dec. 8, 1980, at just 40.

She confessed to Colbert, who asked whether she's ever asked for a celebrity's autograph, that she'd once written Lennon a special message.

"I wrote a several-page letter on lavender stationery with purple ink,' Weaver said. "'Dear John.' It was like five pages front and back. And I folded it up. I put an envelope, and I dropped it off at this restaurant that I heard he went to."

She couldn't recall what she's written, but she didn't seem to want to.

"I hope they threw it away," Weaver said.****In the same interview, the three-time Oscar nominated star was asked about the first concert that she attended, which was of course the Beatles.

***Get your daily dose of entertainment news, celebrity updates, and what to watch with our EW Dispatch newsletter.***

Weaver, who's 76, thought she might have been 12 when she saw the act at the Hollywood Bowl in 1961. Colbert reminded her, however, that the act landed stateside in 1964.

What Weaver had no trouble recalling was the volume of the crowd.

"Girls screaming all around me," she said. "You couldn't hear [the Beatles] at all."

Her momentous night was captured in Ron Howard's documentary about the group, *The Beatles: Eight Days a Week - The Touring Years*. she noted. And Colbert showed a photo of Weaver, yes, trying to hear the "She Loves You" singers.

"The Hollywood Bowl went through all its archives, and I suddenly get an email about 10 years ago saying, 'We think this is you.' And there I am," Weaver said. "My hair is huge because I put it on beer cans all day, straightened it, and I'm wearing my one nice dress."

She admitted to letting out quiet screams every now and then because of the peer pressure she felt.

On her way out of the concert, as Weaver walked in the street with someone she'd befriended at the concert, she had what just might have been the best moment of the experience.**

A limo carrying the artists themselves rode by, and she got a wave from both Lennon and McCartney.

"I don't remember what the other two did, because we were so excited that we'd come close, like 10 feet away as the car went by," Weaver recalled. "Honestly, I think we both went home and just lay on our backs and looked at the ceiling for 24 hours."

At one point, Weaver did explain why Lennon had been her chosen favorite.

"I read in a fan magazine that he used to work at the airport for VIPs," she said. "He made a plate of sandwiches and, just before he sent them out, he'd put his shoe in them and then put it back together and put it on the platter. I thought that was so cool."**

Hugh Jackman will always remember the night that he sang karaoke with Neil Diamond.

The *Song Sung Blue *star revealed on a recent episode of *The Graham Norton Show *that the encounter happened after the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer had an emotional response to watching Jackman's new movie about a Diamond tribute band, Lightning & Thunder.

"He rang me after seeing the movie with his wife, Katie, and he was crying," Jackman said. "He was so moved by it. He loved it. And he just loved the story of Mike and Claire."

The film, which costars Kate Hudson and is directed by Craig Brewer, is based on the story of Claire "Thunder" and the late Mike "Lightning" Sardina.

When Jackman received the call from Diamond, he was excited.**

"So I took the opportunity. I said, 'Guys, I'd love to come around and have a cuppa or something,'" Jackman said, using a term for a cup of tea or coffee. "And Neil's like, 'Okay, yeah, all right.' And then I didn't hear from Neil anymore. And Katie obviously takes the phone and goes, 'You know we're in Colorado?' I went, 'Okay, I'd still like to come for a cuppa,' and she was like, 'So I guess you want to stay the night?' I'm like, 'That'd be great.' And she's like, 'Okay.'"

Jackman ended up visiting the couple.**

"Neil came out and he came up to me. And he grabbed me, and he goes, 'You did good, kid,'" Jackman said. "But he was emotional about it. And so I stayed the night, and, at dinner time, Neil Diamond — *Neil Diamond* — goes, 'You want to do some karaoke?' I'm like, 'Hell, yeah.' We did karaoke."

Jackman was elated that Diamond wanted to sing "I Dreamed a Dream," the song Jackman sang in the 2012 Oscar-winning musical *Les Misérables*, in which he played Jean Valjean. They also did "Can't Help Falling in Love" and, of course, Diamond's own "Sweet Caroline."

***Get your daily dose of entertainment news, celebrity updates, and what to watch with our EW Dispatch newsletter.******* While the Diamonds were fans of the movie, Sardina's son, Michael Jr., has slammed it.

"My father's rolling in his grave right now," Michael Jr., told *The Daily Mail* this week. He argued that the film "completely destroyed the one thing my father worked his entire life to pass on — his legacy. I want the true story out there and I want it used with truth, with dignity, and I want retribution."

He expressed frustration over the way it's being perceived.**

"Everybody thinks it's such a wonderful film, it's so touching. It's all lies," he said. "And it steals all the hard work that my father put in his entire life."**

For Michael Jr., the stars of the movie were to blame.

"Every interview that those monsters have been on national television don't even mention my existence at all, even though I was the most prevalent force in my father's life, even when I wasn't in Wisconsin, because I'm his only son," he said. "They didn't even try to contact me... They didn't try to get more information... They could have very easily asked Craig [Brewer]."****His sister Angelina called the movie "upsetting" and "a lie."

However, Claire Sardina has been supportive, according to PEOPLE.
