Breakker feels like the obvious call here—and he should be. A year ago, WWE looked ready to build major pieces of the future around him. Now? The rise of stars like Oba Femi and Trick Williams has crowded that lane fast.

At 28, Breakker is still ahead of schedule, but WWE cannot afford for him to feel like yesterday’s future.

Expect interference from The Vision, chaos at ringside, and possibly a Bronson Reed return because wrestling has taught us one thing: if a camera lingers near the ramp, someone is absolutely coming through it.

Match 2: IYO SKY vs. Asuka

This has match-of-the-night written all over it.

Arguably the two best bell-to-bell wrestlers in WWE’s women’s division, SKY and Asuka should benefit heavily from the five-match PLE structure. More time. More space. More chances to cook.

Ironically, not making WrestleMania may have helped this match. Less pressure. More focus.

Backlash has quietly become WWE’s “workrate” show over the years, and this feels like the match most likely to continue that trend.

Match 3: United States Championship

Trick Williams (with Lil Yachty) vs. Sami Zayn

This feud has been weird in the best way.

WWE’s Gingerbread Man material has been absurdly effective—funny enough to get over, but not so silly that it killed the stakes.

That matters because beneath the comedy is a real story: Sami Zayn has been humiliated, displaced, and pushed further away from the world title picture he keeps chasing.

That emotional layer gives this match weight.

Prediction: Trick Williams retains

Match 4: Danhausen and Mystery Partner vs. The Miz and Kit Wilson

This feels like the energy-reset match before the main event.

The obvious roster pick is CM Punk. The realistic pick? Jelly Roll.

Everything seems to point in that direction.

While some fans may reject it at first, Jelly Roll has earned credibility with WWE crowds through sheer effort and commitment. Paired with Danhausen’s offbeat humor, it could turn into one of the most entertaining moments of the night.

A dark-horse celebrity option is Bad Bunny, whose history with Backlash gives WWE an easy callback and an instant crowd reaction.

WWE usually chooses safe at Backlash, but Paul Heyman promised the unexpected.

Katherine Pierce's season 1 arrival in Mystic Falls changed everything for *The Vampire Diaries*… and for actress Nina Dobrev. Suddenly, Dobrev went from playing Katherine occasionally in flashbacks to pulling full-time double duty on the series as present-day Katherine and, of course, Elena.

"The first episode was just a couple flashbacks, and then they introduced her more and more, so I got to figure her out over the first season, and then season 2, once she was back and in the flesh and she was in a lot more of the episodes, it was crazy schedule-wise shooting both of the roles," Dobrev says in episode 2 of *EW's Binge: The Vampire Diaries*.

But Katherine's arrival didn't just make things crazy behind the scenes. Within the world of the show, the doppelgänger instantly created chaos, particularly for Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Elena. Katherine's goal was simple: She wanted the happy couple to split.

Stefan and Elena tried to fool her at first, but when that didn't work, Jenna (Sara Canning) ended up in the hospital, and Stefan and Elena were forced to realize that Katherine always gets her way. The result was one of the series' most devastating breakup scenes, which Wesley still remembers vividly.

"I remember doing at least four [takes] that were, like, pretty good," Wesley says on the podcast. "I also was dealing with a couple things in my personal life, so I didn't really want to go to dark places because I was trying to keep my head above water in real life, frankly. And so [director John] Behring kept pushing me. Maybe he sensed I was going through something and so he really wanted that on screen, and I remember just getting a little bit angry at him, even though it was his job. I would do the same as a director. When you're creating film or television, the whole point of it is to be honest and pure."

Ultimately, Wesley says he went to his "personal place" and channeled real-life emotion for the heartbreaking scene. "That crying, that whole breakup was [me] dealing with my own stuff, essentially, on screen. And then I remember after we shot it I was a little relieved, but then also a little bit angry that I had to deal with that and then I had to go home and deal with that," Wesley says. "But at the end of the day, it's on screen, it works so great for the scene, and I would do it again in a heartbeat."

- Erin Murphy said that *Bewitched* ended abruptly after planning to return for another season after a hiatus.

- However, she said she was "excited to go to school full-time" when the show concluded.

- Murphy also said that she enjoyed auditioning for other projects when the series was over.

Erin Murphy is reflecting on *Bewitched* ending when she was 8 years old.

The actress discussed playing Tabitha Stephens, the daughter of Samantha (Elizabeth Montgomery) and Darrin (Dick York/Dick Sargent) on the sitcom during a conversation with Billy Corgan on his podcast *The Magnificent Others*.

When Corgan asked if it was difficult for her to "detach" from her working family when the show ended in 1972, Murphy replied, "It was and it wasn't."

The actress explained that the show went on hiatus with the expectation of another season approaching, but the show's creative team ultimately decided not to return for more episodes, which meant that she never had an opportunity for a proper farewell.

"We went on our break, and I had plans to go to Girl Scout camp, hang out with my friends," she explained. "So we all got telegrams and letters saying, 'We have decided to not to do the show.' [Director] Bill Asher and Liz were going through a divorce, and she especially decided not to do the show anymore. So there was no goodbye."

The unusual circumstances of the show's conclusion softened the emotional blow for Murphy. "It was hard maybe in the way that, 'Oh, I miss those people. I wish I saw them more,'" she reflected. "But I was 8 years old. I was excited to go to school full-time. I liked being a kid. So that part didn't hit me maybe until later."

Murphy also said that she was glad that she was free to pursue other acting opportunities once the show ended. "The way my contract was written, and maybe some of the others at the time — I wasn't allowed to do other acting jobs while I was on *Bewitched*," she said. "So I couldn't audition for other shows or movies or commercials or anything. So that's why during the time on the show, I only did the show. So when *Bewitched* ended, then I started auditioning for commercials."

Auditions proved to be a positive experience for Murphy on the whole, in part because of the socializing that transpired in casting offices. "I liked doing it," she said. "I liked that there were friends that I would only see at auditions, like, 'Oh, Jodie Foster is here! Kim Richards is here!' That kind of thing. So I did like it."

Murphy also said that she felt a degree of autonomy over her acting career from a young age. "There were times I felt like I had a say," she explained. "When *Bewitched* ended, I went to Girl Scout camp. A call came in to do *The Waltons*, and I don't remember the exact conversation, but it was almost like, 'We can pick you up at camp to go do this!' And I chose to stay at camp, and they let me do that."

Child stardom didn't faze Murphy because she has no memories prior to becoming a household name. "Anywhere I would go as a child, people knew who I was, like 'Hi, Erin!' Like, everyone knew who I was," she said. "And that seemed normal because that's all I knew."

The actress never felt any negative social implications from her time on the show. "Maybe it was because *Bewitched* was a show people loved so much: I never had bullying," she said. "Kids at school were nice to me. And I have always felt almost an obligation to maybe be nicer than others because of that."

The *Spotlight* star discussed marrying Felicity Blunt, the sister of his *Devil Wears Prada* costar Emily Blunt, during an interview with Jenna Bush Hager on her podcast *Open Book*. Tucci, who was married to social worker Kathryn Spath from 1995 until she died from cancer in 2009, said that he initially didn't think that he'd ever tie the knot again.

"I wasn't sure that I would ever remarry," Tucci, 65, said on the podcast. "I never thought I would have children again. And when I met her, it just sort of made sense, even though there is this age gap of 21 years. And obviously, I knew her family, or I knew her sister was one of my best friends. And we just hit it off."

Tucci and Felicity first crossed paths at *The Devil Wears Prada*'s premiere in 2006. They were reintroduced at Emily Blunt's wedding to John Krasinski at George Clooney's house in Lake Como, Italy, in 2010, and they began dating shortly thereafter and eventually married in 2012.

The couple welcomed a son together in 2015 and a daughter in 2018. Felicity is also stepmom to Tucci's three children from his previous marriage.

"We had a lot in common, even though we had nothing in common," Tucci told Hager. "And it just sort of stuck. But I think she changed my life in the sense that she gave me a sense of security. She gave my children a sense of security. And she's fun. Like, she's fun to hang out with."

Oh he got a type!” to which Ciara replied, “That's what I thought….” with a cartwheeling emoji for good measure.

In case you’re wondering, yes, Jenn is a married woman—she’s been with her husband, Jeff Fessler, since 1999. While she didn’t outright deny that she and West gooked up, Jenn told Page Six on Friday, “It’s flattering that anyone would think someone who slept with Ciara Miller would be interested in sleeping with me.” So uh, take that for what you will, especially considering that neither West nor Ciara responded to Page Six’s request for comment.

It’s also been a truly wilde couple of days for West in general, Summer House scandal and Amanda Batula drama aside—his nudes recently leaked, which he addressed in an episode of his Show Me Something With Sophie and West podcast.
