- West Wilson is officially not returning for *Summer House* season 11 as cameras start rolling over the July 4 weekend.

- The news comes ahead of the release of a bonus episode of the series featuring (hopefully illuminating) one-on-one conversations between several castmates, airing on Tuesday.

- Wilson was recently the target of hard-hitting questions from his costars during the season 10 reunion, where the relationship between him and Amanda Batula dominated the conversation.

Bravo is shaking things up for the next season of its long-running reality TV series, *Summer House*. West Wilson is officially not returning for season 11 as cameras start rolling over the July 4 weekend, PEOPLE reported Monday.

TMZ, which first shared the news, reported that sources close to production say that although Wilson hadn't been picked up for the upcoming installment, the door for a possible return remains open with production. The media personality could appear in the next season for a brief cameo.

Reps for the Bravo series did not immediately respond when ** reached out for comment. The stars of season 11 — returning or new —have not yet been announced.

Wilson joined the cast of hard-partying friends for their annual escape to the Hamptons in season 8, as the friend of OG cast member Lindsay Hubbard. His relationship with costar Ciara Miller became a huge focal point for the series, despite their very public breakup after dating for a few months. Although their brief dalliance following Wilson's addition to the cast in 2023 ended on less-than-friendly terms, the pair seemingly maintained a will-they-or-won't-they vibe ever since.

After a rocky journey which included a brief period of estrangement at the request of Miller, the two seemed to be reconciling their romance during *Summer House* season 10.

However, things took a dark turn for the cast when Wilson and costar Amanda Batula revealed they had been in a secret relationship on March 31, weeks after gossip blog Deuxmoi first reported they were hooking up and while the 10th season was still airing.

The news created ripples throughout the *Summer House *fandom and cast, since Batula was best friends with Miller, and Wilson was close with Kyle Cooke, to whom Batula had been married for four years before they announced their split in January.

As of publication, Batula and Cooke are still legally married.

The reveal was especially surprising for fans because the show's latest season featured multiple cast members wondering if Miller and Wilson were getting back together, with the latter being notably disturbed when approached by costar Jesse Solomon about possibly kissing Miller if given the chance. At one point in the season, Wilson even referred to Miller as "the love of my life."

Fans felt particularly scandalized about the rumors because Batula and Miller have been close friends for years; Batula even gushed about Miller coming to her aid after she and Cooke announced their split.

Everyone from their fellow *Summer House* castmates to other Bravo stars and celebrities outside the reality TV sphere had *a lot *to say about the relationship reveal and resorted to picking sides.

Cooke broke his silence to defend his estranged wife to "street journalist" Adam Glyn on April 1, saying that he was "more concerned" about Batula than his own feelings. "I'm obviously frustrated. I mean, we have a new show coming out, and there's so much that gets unpacked there," Cooke said. "I'm obviously disappointed in her... but just hearing her and hearing how unwell she is, and [her] dark thoughts, I just ask people to just, maybe, pull off the gas a little on the cyberbullying and hate."

However, the Loverboy founder confessed that he doesn't "understand the timeline just yet" of the relationship between Batula and Wilson, which made watching the 10th season a "mental mindf---."

"I mean, it's just like a series of events that, unfortunately, the evidence just kind of started piling up, piling up, piling up. I'll leave it at that," Cooke said. "Looking back, there's a lot of us [who've] been looking at his body language and, you know, how touchy and handsy he is with her and just kind of gave him a little bit of a hall pass like, 'Oh, it's West.'"

Miller, for her part, shared her thoughts on Wilson and Batula's relationship in a *Glamour* interview published before the kiss cam moment. She said she felt "disregarded in such a disrespectful way" after supporting Batula as her marriage to Cooke fell apart on the latest season of *Summer House*.

"It's one thing to experience hurt behind closed doors," the registered nurse told the outlet. "To experience it so publicly is like another layer, and then to have to see what you thought was your life still play out in season 10. It's a major mindf---."

During the season 10 reunion, the *Summer House* cast came together for the first time since "Scamanda" went public. The discussion largely revolved around Batula and Wilson’s relationship, with the two going on the defensive as Miller, Cooke, Hubbard, and the rest of the cast demanded answers. By the end of Part 3, some — most vocally Hubbard — felt that they hadn’t gotten the accountability they were looking for.

Bravo has even more in store for fans, as the final moments of the reunion revealed there will be a bonus episode, *Summer House: The Aftermath*. The bonus episode will feature new (and hopefully illuminating) one-on-one conversations between Batula and Hubbard, Cooke and Wilson, and Miller and Meija Moreno, which took place three weeks after the reunion was filmed on April 23.

Moreno is Wilson’s ex-girlfriend who, as discussed in the reunion, believed they were exclusive while Wilson continued to hook up with other women. Miller reached out to her and spoke to her on the phone during the reunion, but this promises to be a more in-depth interaction.

*Summer House: The Aftermath *will air on Bravo Tuesday, at 8 p.m. ET. Season 11 of the series will likely kick off in early February 2027, giving viewers a reprieve from the colder temperatures with some sure-to-be-hot drama.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle praised the U.K.'s decision to ban kids under 16 from major social media platforms

The couple emphasized the need for tech companies to prioritize children's safety over profit and engagement

Their Archewell Philanthropies continues to advocate for safer online spaces and support families impacted by online harms

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reacting to big news in the U.K. involving youth and technology.

On June 15, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex released a statement praising British Prime Minister Keir Starmer's announcement that young people under age 16 will be banned from major social media platforms, including TikTok, Snapchat and Instagram.

"We welcome the U.K. Government's announcement of new measures to better protect children online," began the statement from Prince Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, about the monumental decision in his home country.

"The stories shared through The Lost Screen Memorial remind us that behind every debate about technology and regulation are real families whose lives have been forever changed," the couple continued, referring to The Lost Screen Memorial from their charity, Archewell Philanthropies. "While measures such as these may help reduce harm, they do not fix the problem at its source. Lasting change requires safer platforms by design, meaningful accountability, and a commitment to putting children's wellbeing ahead of engagement and profit."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex argued that "The burden cannot rest solely on parents and children" and the responsibility of safer tech "must also be borne by the companies." The couple are parents to two young children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.

"Until then, every day without meaningful change is another day that children remain exposed to preventable harm," they said. "Stronger protections are better than inaction, and today's announcement is a welcome step forward."

Harry and Meghan responded on the same day that British premier Starmer announced the decision, which the reported is expected to take effect next year. The move puts the U.K. on track to join Australia, Canada, Brazil and Indonesia in introducing such legislation or regulating children's access to online content, and Britain's ban will apply to TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube.

Prince Harry and Meghan have made advocating for a safer online world a focus of their charitable work since stepping back from their royal roles in the U.K. and moving to the U.S. in 2024, their charitable Archewell Foundation, which was renamed Archewell Philanthropies late last year, unveiled The Parents' Network as a resource and community for families who lost a child to social media-driven suicide or whose children have struggled because of online harms.

In partnership with The Parents' Network, Archewell introduced the Lost Screen Memorial in New York City in April 2025 as part of the No Child Lost to Social Media campaign.

While Archewell has since transferred the Parents Network to the nonprofit ParentsTogether, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have continued their mission to protect children from online harms. In May, Meghan attended the unveiling of the Lost Screen Memorial in Geneva ahead of the kickoff of the 79th World Health Assembly.

She began her speech there by stating that safe online spaces are "not simply a technology issue," but a "public health issue," and called on the global community to install greater safeguards for the next generation.

In March, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex applauded a a Los Angeles jury's ruling that found Meta and YouTube liable for negligence in a landmark social media addiction case, describing the call as a turning point for families.

Norway's Crown Princess Mette-Marit is a mother of three.

She married Crown Prince Haakon in August 2001, but their relationship initially faced intense public scrutiny. At the time, Mette-Marit was raising her son, Marius Borg Høiby, from a previous relationship, and she had openly spoken about her past drug use.

More than two decades later, Mette-Marit and Haakon remain married and share two children: Princess Ingrid Alexandra, who is second in line to the Norwegian throne after her father, and Prince Sverre Magnus. The siblings were born in 2004 and 2005, respectively.

In June 2026, Marius made international headlines when he was sentenced to four years in prison after being convicted of multiple offenses, including two counts of rape, according to the BBC and The Guardian. While the Royal House of Norway did not comment on the verdict, Haakon addressed the case in a statement released in January 2026.

"Our thoughts are with everyone who is affected by this case," he said. "Marius Borg Høiby is not a member of the Royal House of Norway and is therefore autonomous. We care about him, and he is an important member of our family. He is a citizen of Norway and, as such, has the same responsibilities as everyone else — as well as the same rights."

Here's everything to know about Norway's Crown Princess Mette-Marit's three children.

Born in 1997 in Oslo, Marius is the son of Mette-Marit and Moren Borg, who previously served prison sentences for assault and cocaine-related offenses, per Britannica. Mette-Marit largely raised Marius on her own during his early years.

Marius' life changed when Mette-Marit began dating Crown Prince Haakon. After the couple married in 2001, he became Haakon's stepson. Though he grew up alongside his younger half-siblings, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus, he was never granted a royal title.

After briefly studying business in the United States, Marius pursued a variety of careers. He worked in fashion and media — including a stint as a style editor for the lifestyle magazine Tempus, per his LinkedIn — before becoming a motorcycle mechanic, according to Norway Today.

Marius' legal troubles began in August 2024, when he was arrested following an alleged assault in Oslo. After the incident, he released a statement, shared by Hola!, admitting that he had assaulted his girlfriend while under the influence of alcohol and cocaine and acknowledging a long struggle with substance abuse.

As authorities continued investigating the case, additional allegations surfaced involving multiple women. In November 2024, Marius was arrested again on suspicion of rape. Police also accused him of violating a restraining order.

By August 2025, prosecutors had filed 32 charges against Marius, including one count of rape with sexual intercourse and three counts of rape without intercourse. He also faced charges including domestic abuse against a former partner and several counts of violence, disturbing the peace, vandalism and violation of restraining orders against another former partner. At the time, he faced a potential prison sentence of up to 10 years if convicted, per CBS.

Marius was arrested again in February 2026, shortly before his trial began, on new allegations that included alleged assault, violating a restraining order and threatening another person with a knife. During the seven-week trial, prosecutors argued that several of the alleged victims were unable to consent due to being asleep or otherwise incapacitated. Marius denied the rape charges.

On June 15, 2026, an Oslo court found Marius guilty of 34 offenses, including two counts of rape, domestic abuse and assault, and sentenced him to four years in prison. He was also ordered to pay compensation to several victims, including his former girlfriend, Nora Haukland.

His attorneys said they plan to appeal the verdict and sought his release pending the appeal, arguing that he is not a flight risk and citing family circumstances, including his mother's ongoing battle with pulmonary fibrosis.

Princess Ingrid Alexandra, the older child of Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit, is second in line to Norway's throne behind her father.

Born in Oslo on Jan. 21, 2004, she is expected to one day become queen and would be Norway's first reigning queen in centuries. Raised at the royal family's Skaugum estate, Ingrid Alexandra graduated from upper secondary school in 2023 and has steadily taken on more royal duties as she prepares for her future role.

In recent years, Ingrid Alexandra has focused on both education and service. She completed military training with the Norwegian Army, serving in the Engineer Battalion and training as a gunner on a CV-90 infantry fighting vehicle, per the Royal Court. After finishing her military service, she moved to Australia to study social sciences, international relations and political economy at the University of Sydney.

The young royal has also faced significant family challenges in recent years. Her mother has been living with pulmonary fibrosis since 2018 and was placed on Norway's lung transplant list in 2026. At the same time, the royal family has faced intense public scrutiny surrounding the legal troubles of Ingrid Alexandra's older half-brother, Marius.

Addressing the situation in a November 2025 interview with NRK, Ingrid Alexandra acknowledged the strain on her family. "Of course, it's difficult. Both for those of us who are around, for me as a sister, and for mom and dad," she said. "And of course, for everyone affected by the case."

Prince Sverre Magnus

Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit's younger child, Prince Sverre Magnus, was born on Dec. 3, 2005, in Oslo. He is currently third in line to the Norwegian throne, behind his father and older sister, Ingrid Alexandra.

Raised at the royal family's Skaugum estate, Sverre Magnus has grown up away from the spotlight as his parents have prioritized giving him a relatively normal childhood. He graduated from upper secondary school in the spring of 2024.

As he has gotten older, Sverre Magnus has begun taking on a more visible role within Norway's royal family, occasionally joining his parents and sister at official engagements and national celebrations. In recent years, he has also pursued interests outside royal life, including photography, film and alpine skiing, per his royal bio.

"I thought I was a lot cooler than I was," Gummer said

Grace Gummer is reflecting on her early red carpet style.

In an interview with W Magazine published on Monday, June 15, the actress, 40, says she wouldn't choose her 2000s Oscars look today.

The star recalled what she wore to the event, which she attended with her mom Meryl Streep, as a teenager. At the ceremony, Streep was nominated for Best Actress for her work in Music of the Heart but ultimately lost to Hilary Swank for Boys Don't Cry.

The mother-daughter duo coordinated in gold looks. Streep wore a printed jacket and trousers, while Gummer opted for a floor-length ivory column gown with abstract gold line details and accessorized with a pair of shades.

"I thought it was really cool to wear sunglasses because that's what everyone was doing," she told W. "I had really short, curly hair and '90s sunglasses."

Gummer continued, "I was wearing a Mary McFadden stripey, abstract, sparkly long dress, which is, all due respect to her, not what I would choose now. I thought I was a lot cooler than I was."

Gummer recently opened up about growing up with a famous mom during an interview with Elle. She also spoke to the outlet about her role as Caroline Kennedy in the new limited series Love Story, which chronicles the relationship between John F. Kennedy Jr. (played by Paul Anthony Kelly) and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy (Sarah Pidgeon).

During the interview, Gummer revealed how she would feel if Love Story creator Ryan Murphy were to make a series about her mom, legendary actress Meryl Streep.

"I just don't know if that would happen, right?!" Gummer said. "Because my upbringing was nowhere near public."

"The thing about the Kennedys is there's always been this lore about them, this mist in the American era that is so intriguing and will constantly be huge on the public stage," she continued. "It always has been. People are always fascinated with them. And no one is immune to an ill-fated love story. I think we really, really need that right now."

Streep shares four children, son Henry and daughters Mamie, Grace and Louisa, with ex-husband Don Gummer. The couple announced their separation in October 2023 after 45 years of marriage.

Pons, whose full name is Eleanora Pons, is one of the most recognized content creators in the U.S., rising to fame on the now-defunct short-form video platform, Vine.PEOPLE can exclusively reveal the trailer for the upcoming series, which features Lele seated on a hotel bed, as she welcomes in guests, including Shakira, Paris Hilton, cast members from Bridgerton and more.According to a press release, the series will feature Pons as she invites "cultural movers and shakers, from global icons to rising stars" to "kick back" in their pajamas and chat.Pons' vibrant personality shines through in the trailer as she chats with attendees, who perch with her on the edge of a bed."You have surprises?" she asks Shakira at one point during the clip, to which the "Waka Waka" singer replies, "Many surprises."In another clip, Pons chats with Hilton, sitting between a mix of pink pillows, including one that says simply "Iconic," as she exclaims, "I found out I was pregnant, going to Paris's event."

At other points, the Latina creator gabs with her guests in Spanish — and teaches those less fluent a few favorite phrases of her own."I'm so excited to have my friends on this podcast and share the stories behind our friendships," said Pons."So many people see us together online, but they don't know how we met or everything we've been through together. I can't wait to show a more personal and private side of each of them and have real conversations you've never heard before.""This is Suite 305," Pons says at the end of the trailer, as she enters the hotel room. "Here, oversharing is encouraged."Pons was just a teenager in high school in Miami when she started investing her time and energy into building a future on Vine.

"I had a lot of videos because I never skipped a day. I was obsessed with posting every day," Pons, now 29, told PEOPLE exclusively in January 2025. "[Vine] was my first social media. I was not on Facebook, YouTube. I was on nothing."While Pons rarely spoke in her clips, she was intent on squeezing physical comedy into each clip, managing to get laughs while sticking to Vine's six-second length limit on videos. The Venezuelan creator became the first Vine star to hit a billion views, or "loops," as they were dubbed on the app.Pons emerged as one of the earlier major teen creators, so she commanded the younger demographic, and has managed to maintain her relevance long after Vine died in 2017, commanding audiences on Instagram and TikTok.Cultura shows are distributed by iHeartPodcasts. - The former collaborators and friends have not worked together since 2018, when Franco was accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women.

- Rogen, who rarely comments on his former friend, has said that he has no intention of working with Franco again.

Seth Rogen has not reconnected with his old pal, James Franco and doesn't plan to change that anytime soon.

In the five years since Franco settled a sexual misconduct lawsuit from former students of his acting school, Rogen says nothing has changed when it comes to where they stand today — both personally and professionally.

Asked about the nature of their relationship during a recent sit-down with *The New York Times*, Rogen hesitated to say too much.

"I honestly think the nuance of it is too personal for me to get into right now. It is a very personal thing," he told the outlet. "There’s the public-facing side of it, which I’ve spoken about, and I have the same stance publicly that I’ve had, and I think the proof is in the pudding — I have not worked with him in years. But the personal side of it is just so nuanced, and it involves people that I don’t know if I should be dragging into this."

Rogen then clarified that "nothing has changed" since he last discussed the subject.

"I haven’t worked with him in a really long time and I have no plans to," he added. "I haven’t talked to him in a long time."

For decades, Franco and Rogen were friends and longtime collaborators after getting their start on the short-lived cult TV series, *Freaks and Geeks*. Though it only lasted a season, the comedy marked a breakthrough role for the two performers — Rogen, 16, and Franco, 21 — and their partnership led to films such as *Pineapple Express**, This Is the End*, and *Sausage Party*.

Their final collaboration was 2017's *The Disaster Artist*, a dramatization of the making of *The Room*, for which Franco won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy, for his performance as Tommy Wiseau. In solidarity with the MeToo movement, he wore a Time's Up pin to the 2018 ceremony, prompting five women to come forward and accuse him of sexual misconduct. Two of those women — Sarah Tither-Kaplan and Toni Gaal — were former students of Franco's now defunct acting school Studio 4, and went on to launch a sexual misconduct lawsuit against the actor.

After a tumultuous few years, the lawsuit was settled in 2021. That same year, Rogen stated that he had no intention of working with Franco again, in the wake of the allegations.

"I despise abuse and harassment, and I would never cover or conceal the actions of someone doing it or knowingly put someone in a situation where they were around someone like that," Rogen told *The London Times*," adding, "I do not plan to [work with Franco again] right now."

He has repeated similar sentiments in the years since, rarely speaking more in depth on the subject.

In 2024, Franco publicly lamented the end of their friendship, confirming that they had fallen out of contact.

"I haven’t talked to Seth. I love Seth, we had 20 great years together, but I guess it’s over," he said. "And not for lack of trying. I’ve told him how much he’s meant to me."

A year later, asked how it felt to "have something so personal become so public," Rogen claimed he didn't even know Franco had spoken publicly about their relationship.

"Honestly, I absorb so little media that it really wasn’t on my radar," he told *Esquire* in 2025, declining to comment further on the matter.

*Scooby-Doo* has been a beloved animated franchise since the original series premiered in 1969, but it took until 2002 for a live-action version to be produced. While not exactly a hit with critics, audiences flocked to see the adventures of the Scooby gang investigate mysterious events at an island resort. Over the years, the film has developed cult classic status for its subversive tone (credited to screenwriter James Gunn) and nostalgic early-2000s aesthetic.

One aspect of the film that fans and critics can agree on is the casting. Freddie Prinze Jr. as Fred, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Daphne, Linda Cardellini as Velma, and Matthew Lillard as Shaggy each captured their characters' idiosyncratic quirks, particularly Lillard, who eventually became the main voice of Shaggy for the franchise moving forward. This core gang of four got back together for the 2004 sequel, *Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed*.

A live-action *Scooby-Doo* series is coming to Netflix with an all-new cast announced for 2027, so we're looking at the cast of 2002's *Scooby-Doo* (and its sequel) and solving the mystery of where they are now.

Freddie Prinze Jr. took on the role of the blond ascot-wearing leader of the Mystery, Inc. gang in both *Scooby-Doo *movies. However, later he openly expressed his regret for filming them.

“There was too much bait-and-switch on the first one. The studio was not honest with me in any way, shape or form. They were not straightforward,” Prinze Jr. told TooFab in March 2023. "I've been on two jobs where I've had regret [after] doing it, and *Scooby* was one of them."

"I didn't fully appreciate *Scooby* until it was seen and children came up to me, like, 'Oh my gosh,'" he continued. "All of a sudden I was like, 'Hey, man, we did good.' We did good, there's legit millions of people [who] love this movie. It wasn't the movie I wanted to make, but I appreciate that and it made me change my outlook on it."

Since playing Fred Jones, Prinze Jr. headlined his own short-lived sitcom on ABC, *Freddie*;* *popped up in episodes of *Boston Legal*, *24*, *Bones*, and *Punky Brewster*; and lent his voice to Kanan Jarrus on *Star Wars: Rebels*, as well as in *Star Wars: Episode IX — The Rise of Skywalker *(2019). Additionally, he had a cameo alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar in *Clerks III* and starred in the Netflix holiday rom-com *Christmas With You *(2022). The *I Know What You Did Last Summer* (1997) alum reprised his role as Ray Bronson in the 2025 legacy sequel.

Prinze Jr. shares two children with Gellar, with whom he's been married since 2002.

*Buffy the Vampire Slayer* alum Sarah Michelle Gellar strutted in the purple platform boots of the fashionable and upbeat Daphne Blake in both live-action *Scooby-Doo* flicks.

In February 2023, Gellar told Andy Cohen on *Watch What Happens Live *that the cast initially filmed a "less-than-family-friendly" version* *of the original *Scooby-Doo*. "There was an actual kiss between Daphne and Velma that got cut. I feel like the world wants to see it. I don't know where it is," she said. "There was a great line too that I'll never forget. We were having a fight, Daphne and Fred, and then I yell at him, 'And that ascot makes you look gay!' And I slam the door and they cut that, too."

After *Scooby-Doo*, she went on to other projects like *The Grudge *(2004), its 2006 sequel *The Return *(2005),* *and *Suburban Girl* (2007). After taking a nearly decade-long break from film — during which time she reprised her *Cruel Intentions* (1999) character for an unaired television spinoff — Gellar appeared in the movies *Clerks III* (2022) and *Do Revenge* (2022). She also starred on Paramount+'s supernatural series *Wolf Pack* in 2023 and in season 1 of *Dexter: Original Sin* from 2024 to 2025.

After meeting on the set of *I Know What You Did Last Summer*, Gellar began dating *Scooby-Doo* costar Freddie Prinze Jr. in 2000. They married two years later and have two children, a daughter (Charlotte) and a son (Rocky).

Matthew Lillard (Shaggy Rogers)

In both *Scooby-Doo* and *Monsters Unleashed*, Matthew Lillard dons the signature goatee and green V-neck tee of Shaggy Rogers, who joins forces with his canine confidante to bring the mystery-solving gang back together at the beginning of the first film. However, the actor has expressed mixed feelings about what the franchise represented during a certain period of his career.

"I had this moment where I had done big movies, and I had been the lead in *Scooby-Doo*. I got paid a lot of money, it was a huge success, and I was like, ‘Oh I’m set. I’m going to now sort of control my own destiny. I’m a legit Hollywood sort of success,’” he told* *The Ringer in July 2017. “Which was actually the farthest thing from the truth, because I had really kind of pigeonholed myself to be this kind of [hack], on a movie that nobody respected and nobody really liked, and I was kind of like, people sort of thought of me as a hack at that time. At least I felt that way.”

After playing Shaggy in the live-action films, Lillard continued to voice the character in various animated projects, including *Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!*, *Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?*, and more. He also has reinvented himself as an actor with dramatic turns in Alexander Payne’s *The Descendants *(2011) and in episodes of *Twin Peaks: The Return*, *Good Girls*, and* Daredevil: Born Again. *Additionally, he played the main antagonist, William Afton,** **in the 2023 film adaptation of *Five Nights at Freddy’s* and its 2025 sequel. He will soon appear in Mike Flanagan's miniseries adaptation of Stephen King's *Carrie*.

Since 2000, Lillard has been married to realtor Heather Helm, with whom he shares three children: daughter Addison and sons Liam and Jackson.

Linda Cardellini (Velma Dinkley)

Jinkies! Linda Cardellini breathed life into the iconic Velma, the brains behind Mystery, Inc., who's forever losing her glasses.

"Velma has been around since 1969; I just went trick or treating with my daughter and there were a lot of Velmas out there," Cardellini reflected on the character's legacy to EW in November 2022. "So I love that she still has this place in culture that is sort of always active for decades."

After *Scooby-Doo, *Cardellini landed the regular role of Samantha Taggart on *ER*; appeared in episodes of *New Girl *and *Bloodline*;* *did voice work on *Regular Show* and *Gravity Falls*; and earned film credits for *Brokeback Mountain* (2005), *Green Book* (2018), and *Nonnas* (2025). She also joined the MCU in *Avengers: Age of Ultron *(2015) as Laura Barton, a role she reprised in *Avengers: Endgame *(2019) and *Hawkeye*. Additionally, Cardellini earned Emmy nominations for her guest spot on *Mad Men* and her starring role as Judy Hale on *Dead to Me*. She is one of the leads of *DTF St. Louis*, a 2026 HBO Max limited series.

Since 2013, Cardellini has been engaged to her fiancé, Steven Rodriguez, with whom she shares a daughter.

Neil Fanning voices the titular Great Dane, Shaggy's Scooby-snack-loving partner in crime, in both *Scooby-Doo* live-action films.

"I misspent my childhood watching a lot of cartoons...I warm up every day that I have to perform the voice [of Scooby-Doo]. But it comes really naturally, and that’s half the trick, keeping it natural.... It’s like — 'hummmeeemmph!' — pretty much do that and I’m in," Fanning told *Today* in March 2004. "Basically, there are three elements to Scooby: He’s happy, he’s hungry, or he’s scared. Pretty much, that warmup just covers the whole gamut of his emotions very quickly."

Before lending his voice to the iconic character, the Australian actor and stuntman performed for 14 years in the *Police Academy Stunt Show *at* *Warner Bros. Movie World in Queensland before managing the show for many years. The same year he voiced Scooby-Doo for the live-action film, he did stunts for the films *The* *Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course* and *Ghost Ship.*

Following *Scooby-Doo*, Fanning's latest on-screen credits include a 2009 episode of *Sea Patrol* and a 2016 episode of *Wanted*. He also coordinated stunts for the films *The Great Raid* (2005) and *Daybreakers *(2009) and was a stunt supervisor for three episodes of *Surviving Summer*.

Fanning is a father of three children.

In the first live-action *Scooby-Doo*, Rowan Atkinson plays Emile Mondavarious, Spooky Island's owner and Scrappy-Doo's hostage.

After breaking out in 1979 in *The Secret Policeman’s Ball*, the British comedian earned his first feature film credit in the off-brand James Bond vehicle *Never Say Never Again *(1983). However, Atkinson is most recognized for his titular role on *Mr. Bean*, a character he played across various TV and movie projects since 1990.

Post–*Scooby-Doo*, he's continued to play Mr. Bean on *Mr. Bean: The Animated Series* and *Handy Bean* — as well as in several films — and starred in the *Johnny English* film franchise and on Netflix's *Man vs. Bee. *In 2023, he worked opposite Timothée Chalamet in *Wonka**.*

Atkinson has two children with his ex-wife, makeup artist Sunetra Sastry. After 24 years of marriage, the couple divorced in 2015 following Atikinson's affair with actress Louise Ford, with whom he shares a child.

Isla Fisher (Mary Jane)

Before portraying Mary Jane — Shaggy's airplane meet-cute while headed to Spooky Island — in the first live-action *Scooby-Doo*, Isla Fisher had made her film debut in the German slasher *The Pool *(2001).

After *Scooby-Doo*, the Australian actress landed her Stateside breakout role in *Wedding Crashers* (2005), followed by parts in movies like *The Lookout *(2007), *Hot Rod *(2007), *Confessions of a Shopaholic *(2009), *The Great Gatsby *(2013),* *the *Now You See Me** *trilogy, *Nocturnal Animals* (2016), and *Godmothered *(2020). She also voiced Maggie opposite Will Ferrell and Jamie Foxx in the talking-dog comedy *Strays *(2023). On TV, Fisher had stints on *Bored to Death* and *Arrested Development *and played a werewolf on Peacock's *Wolf Like Me*.

Fisher married *Borat* actor Sacha Baron Cohen in 2010, though they ultimately divorced in 2025. Together, they share three children: daughters Olive and Elula and son Montgomery.

Seth Green takes on the role of Patrick Wisely, Velma's love interest and museum curator of the Coolsonian Criminology Museum, in *Monsters Unleashed. *The actor has been most known for voicing Chris Griffin on *Family Guy** *and co-creating the stop-motion sketch comedy series *Robot Chicken.*

Post–*Scooby-Doo 2,* Green continued to appear on screen, with various TV and film credits for *Dads*, *Crazy Ex-Girlfriend*, *The Rookie, *and* Weird: The Al Yankovic Story* (2022). He also earned additional voice roles in various films and TV shows, including Howard the Duck in the *Guardians of the Galaxy* trilogy and episodes of *What If...?*.

In 2010, Green married actress Clare Grant, with whom he's worked on many projects like *Holidays*, *Star Wars: The Clone Wars*, and more.

In *Monsters Unleashed*, Peter Boyle appeared as Jeremiah "Old Man" Wickles, the ex-convict whose house full of traps ensnared Mystery Inc.

When *Scooby-Doo 2* was released, the veteran actor had already won an Emmy for his guest stint on *The X-Files* and was on his way to earning seven Emmy nominations for playing the cantankerous Frank Barone on *Everybody Loves Raymond*.

Following his role in *Scooby-Doo 2*, Boyle appeared in *The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause* (2006) and died at age 71 that same year.

Boyle is survived by his wife — theater producer Loraine Alterman — and their two daughters, Lucy and Amy.

Tim Blake Nelson takes on the role of the evil Dr. Jacobo in *Monsters Unleashed — *thanks to his son.

“A movie I was going to direct fell through, and I called my agent and said, ‘Look, I now have this free summer. Is there anything you can find me?’ Two days later, my manager and agent called and they said, ‘Well, we have an offer for you to do *Scooby-Doo 2*,’” he told *Tulsa World* (his hometown newspaper) in August 2023. “I was on the phone in my son’s room, and I said, somewhat derisively, '*Scooby-Doo 2*?' And then Henry looked up at me, and he said, ‘You can be in *Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?'* And I said, ‘All right, I’m going to do this.’”

Following his portrayal of Dr. Jacobo, the Juilliard-trained actor booked memorable roles, including Samuel Sterns in *The Incredible Hulk *(2008); Dr. Allen in *Fantastic Four *(2015); and the titular character in the Coen brothers' *The Ballad of Buster Scruggs *(2018). He also appeared on TV shows like *Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt*, *Guillermo Del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities*, and *Poker Face*. Nelson reprised his role as Samuel Sterns in *Captain America: Brave New World** *(2025).

In 1994, Nelson tied the knot with Lisa Benavides, with whom he shares three sons.

*Clueless* star Alicia Silverstone is Heather Jasper Howe, the newscaster who runs a smear campaign against Mystery, Inc., in *Monsters Unleashed*.

Post–*Monsters Unleashed*, Silverstone acted in films like *Beauty Shop* (2005), *The Art of Getting By* (2011), and *Ass Backwards* (2013). After a memorable performance in *The Killing of a Sacred Deer *(2017), the actress scored more parts in *The Lodge* (2019), *Senior Year* (2022), *Bugonia* (2025), and the miniseries *Reptile*.

From 2005 to 2019, Silverstone married musician and radio host Christopher Jarecki, with whom she shares a son named Bear.
