The first trailer for *Dutton Ranch* dropped on March 23, and it wastes no time getting into the dirt. The brief clip quite literally begins with Rip finding a corpse on what we can only assume is his land.

Thrown fists, cocked guns, and flaming trailers light up the subsequent footage, which is cut with shots of new characters played by Ed Harris and Annette Bening, the latter of whom is adorned in a flamboyant Western show jacket and a wild rag neck scarf.**

"Welcome to Texas," Rip deadpans as he shares a drink with Beth on their porch.

Later, we see Beth tell Bening's character that "a legacy is a beautiful thing... but only if it survives." Those sound like fighting words to us.**

Who's in the cast of Dutton Ranch?

Reilly, Hauser, and Little will be joined by the formidable duo of Annette Bening and Ed Harris, veteran performers who hold nine Oscar nominations between them.

In recent years, Bening has appeared on Peacock's *Apples Never Fall *(2024) and in Maggie Gyllenhaal's *The Bride! *(2026). On *Dutton Ranch*, she plays a stylish ranch owner described as powerful, cunning, and charming.

Harris, meanwhile, scored an Emmy nomination for his turn on HBO's *Westworld* (2016–2022), and recently appeared in movies like *Top Gun: Maverick* (2022) and *Love Lies Bleeding* (2024). Here, he plays a good-humored veterinarian who's said to treat animals with compassion and understanding.
