Holly H revealed she was placed in a coma in December after experiencing extreme brain swelling

Holly H is feeling grateful to be alive.
On Sunday, March 22, the British singer and content creator, 29, revealed she was out of induced coma after suffering from extreme brain swelling in December.
"Hi… I'm alive 💜," she wrote alongside a photo of herself sitting in a hospital gown in a hallway while surrounded by loved ones. "So it turns out I'm not invincible. In December I suddenly became critically ill, was rushed into hospital, and placed into a coma."
She added, "I experienced extreme brain swelling and it was uncertain if I'd wake up again, but I was lucky enough to have a badass doctor and my incredible family by my side 24/7 fighting for me."
Holly H said she had to learn how to walk and use her hands again after waking up.
"It's been the hardest and scariest thing that's ever happened to me, and I'm so grateful to be here today," she wrote.
The influencer said she was now out of hospital but added that she would not be consistent with her posting as she's still recovering gradually.
She went on to say that she just "wanted to come back and let you know that I'm okay."

"I missed you all so much and I'm insanely thankful for all of the love you've given me while I've been gone, it truly means the world to me," Holly H continued. "This experience has given me a whole new love for my life, my family, my friends, and the wonderful world we live in."
The social media star then concluded her post with an inspirational plea.
"Go do everything that makes you smile. Life is so damn precious 💜✨," she said.
Holly H's lastpost on Instagramwas on Dec. 21, when her loved ones revealed that she was unable to post due to being in hospital.
Sharing a photo of someone holding her hand while the influencer lay in hospital, the post explained that Holly H was being looked after in hospital "as she is needing to take time to heal."
"We know how much she cares about you all, so we wanted to reassure everyone that she is getting the care that she needs," they added. "Holly would like to wish you a Happy Christmas, enjoy the time with your family and friends and give each other an extra tight hug. She also wishes you all a happy, healthy 2026 💜."
