Lionel Richie is sharing a health update after recently postponing two Sing A Song All Night Long Tour shows due to dizziness.
The Grammy winner, 77, said he was “doing well” in an Instagram post shared on Saturday, July 4, days after returning to perform in concert in Pittsburgh and Detroit following his brief concert break.
“Thank you for every message, every kind word, and for all your love. ❤️ I'm doing well, and I'm grateful for all of you,” Richie wrote. “Pittsburgh and Detroit were an absolute joy. The energy, the dancing, the faces in the crowd… we made real memories together."
"See you in Toronto... let's party all night long! 🎉,” the singer added, referencing his famous hit.

Richie ended his June 24 show at Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul, Minn., early after falling ill on stage. The singer reportedly told the crowd that he was feeling dizzy while performing "Dancing on the Ceiling" as he took a seat on a platform, per the Minnesota Star Tribune.
According to TMZ, paramedics met Richie after he left the stage, and he was sent to the hospital as a precautionary measure.

Live Nation Chicago confirmed the next day in an Instagram post that Richie was postponing his next two shows in Chicago and Columbus, Ohio, on June 26 and June 27, respectively, after doctors advised him "to rest and return to full health."
"He and Earth, Wind & Fire will return to the stage on Tuesday, June 30, in Pittsburgh, PA," the post read. "Lionel is heartbroken to postpone these two shows and cannot wait to be back performing for his fans. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes fans who have tickets for these two shows. Rescheduled dates will be announced soon."

On June 26, Richie's ex-wife, Brenda Harvey-Richie, shared a health update on the singer, writing on X, “Thanking everyone for their concern! Lionel is OK and will be back on the stage. ❤️❤️”
On June 30, the "Hello" singer returned to the stage in Pittsburgh, resuming his tour with Earth, Wind & Fire.
"I had you worried there for a minute, huh?” Richie joked to the crowd, per TribLive. "You have no idea what I have been through in the last 24 hours, listening to my friends tell me their advice on what I should be doing."
Richie performed in concert in Toronto on Saturday, continuing his return to the stage.
In a video posted by the Scotiabank Arena on Instagram, Richie told the crowd onstage, “Toronto! Welcome back, everybody! I need to tell you all the strange things that happened to me last week, but I feel like I've come from the other side — back over here to say, tonight, it's going to be the greatest night we ever did it live.”
