Princess Kate is reminiscing about her epic charity hike.
The mother-of-three took to Instagram Sunday, July 5, to mark one week since she climbed the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales, known as the Three Peaks Challenge.
"This time last week, completing the National Three Peaks Challenge," she wrote as she shared several photos of her family congratulating her at the bottom of mount Snowdon in Wales. "A huge thank you to everybody who has supported The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity."
Kate shared a series of photos taken after she completed the climb, hugging husband Prince William and embracing her three children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8.
In one photo, Kate drapes an arm around George, who is now almost her height (the future king turns 13 later this month). In another image, Kate bows her head and pulls Princess Charlotte tightly into her for a hug.
Kate's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, and her brother James were also waiting to congratulate her, posing for group photos at the scene.
It took the 44-year-old 24 hours to scale the three highest peaks in Great Britain. She took on the challenge to raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity following her own diagnosis with a type of cancer that has not been publicly disclosed. Last year Kate said she was in remission for the disease.

The charity supports work at the hospital where Kate had cancer treatment.
For the challenge, the princess kept it casual, donning a T-shirt and a pair of red North Face mini shorts. Her dark hair was pulled back into a ponytail, with a cap over the top. In the newly released photos, she is seen wearing specialist walking boots for the expedition teamed with a pair of red socks.
The princess referred to the climb as "not simply as a physical endeavour but as a chance to explore life beyond diagnosis and to give something back."
It's been a nonstop summer for Kate, who last week delighted tennis fans as she dished out tickets at Wimbledon before watching a match.

In June she attended Trooping the Colour with her children for King Charles III's annual royal birthday celebration. She was also spotted at Royal Ascot alongside William, posing for photos in a canary-yellow dress.
