Skarsgard played Reinsve's father in the 2025 Oscar-nominated film Sentimental Value
Renate Reinsve is twinning with her movie dad, Stellan Skarsgård.
On Thursday, May 21, the Norwegian actress, 38, stepped out during the Cannes Film Festival in the same ensemble that Skarsgård wore to the festival a few days earlier.
Reinsve took to Instagram to share a snap of herself in a gray Ami Paris suit, purple striped shirt and matching tie. She also added black flats and sunglasses. The post also included a photo of Skarsgård, 74, in the same look at the Cannes screening of Reinsve's new movie Fjord on Monday, May 18.
"Still smells like daddy," the actress joked in the caption.
Reinsve and Skarsgård costarred in 2025's Sentimental Value. The film follows actress Nora Borg (Reinsve) and her estranged film director father Gustav Borg (Skarsgård) who reunite when he offers her a role in his next project.

Reinsve and Skarsgård were nominated for Academy Awards for their performances.
Film fans are loving the duo's twinning moment at Cannes.

"Screaming crying kicking my feet," one user commented on Reinsve's post.

Skarsgård won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the Joachim Trier-directed film on Jan. 11. In his acceptance speech, he joked that he thought he might be "too old" to snag the award, and highlighted his wife, Megan Everett-Skarsgård.

"I've got to thank my wife. She's been amazing — a sort of brutal support, a tough lover and very educational," he said. "And also, my children have been very educational. I'm playing a father who is a bad father. My children have really taught me what a bad father is."
